Bellagio buffet questions

We're going to Vegas in a couple of weeks and the buffet is on my husband's to-do list. Am interested in hearing what others have to say about it. In particular:

Do they have crab legs every night, or just on the "gourmet" nights (Friday and Saturday)?

Is it worth the extra bucks for the gourmet buffet?

Any information you want to share would be great.

Thanks!
I've only gone once. I cant remember if it was a seafood night or not..but they had crab legs and peeled jumbo shrimp. I'll get my $40 worth out of those shrimp every time.

My favorite thing on their buffet is the butternut squash raviolli. If all vegetarian food tasted that good you could talk me into becoming one.
In May I ate at the Bellagio's dinner buffet.

It was crowded, noisy and hectic, and I was kind of disappointed,
not only with the food but with the table service too.

To me, I thought that it was just not worth the $$$, but in my case it was comped anyway.

I like the Wynn Buffet far better for a buffet on the Strip.

........... just my opinion.

Gotta concur with Rick.

I go for breakfast or lunch, dinner is over priced in my opinion.
I'm not a buffet person, but just remember, go right past the fillers (salads, sides, and pastas) and head to the seafood and carving station.
I had the buffet 2 years ago and thought it was excellent. Dinner is overpriced, but I do the old continuous buffet trick of entering late at lunch and getting the dinner items when they come out. I remember excellent crab legs, good beef, and a cheese tortellini that was heavenly. I was there on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
I'm pushing for the pay for lunch and stay for dinner trick, also.

Thanks for all the feedback - I really appreciate it!
I have gone to over 40 buffets , and the Bellagio has been the Best everytime. I can't wait to eat there next week on my vacation.
Don't forget to pay lunch price right before 3 pm, and you will save $10 off dinner buffet price. $20 bucks savings if your bringing someone.
Bellagio is the best for lunch and dinner IMO, wife thinks Caesars Palace is better. We agree Paris is better for breakfast (do the breakfast into lunch thing).

Never tried the Wynn buffet, sounds like we should.
