The reader can safely wager on #9 Paynter.

Over the years there have been so many horses that won the Kentucky Derby and Preakness to only get overtaken in the long home stretch at Belmont. The Belmont is 1.5 miles, the longest of the three Triple Crown races. At least there is a reason to tune in and watch this year.

Judging by the posted odds it looks like a pretty sorry lot of horses.

We need a Triple Crown winner so I'm going with I'll Have Another who will outrun Paynter at the wire.

My wife is a little upset at all you bandwagon I'll Have Another bettors driving down the odds.

I hope the horse is ok.

Questions had been raised about the horse's health as it had been having an unusual light training schedule.

The trainer has also had problems in the past with his horses failing drug tests.
