A US Soldier will be tried by US military court instead of the Taliban. I'm sorry Hoops wishes to arbitraily deny that right to any member of the armed forces. It doesn't show much respect for those groups.

I dont claim he's innocent. I claim that any indicted soldier has the right to be tried by a US military court instead of the Taliban. Does Boilerman disagree?

Wrong on so many levels. He deserted the US Army to join the Talibam. It may not have worked out the way he liked but that's his problem.

When in US history did the US trade 5 generals for an enlisted man who deserted?

He's not a deserter until a US military court convicts him of that offense. I'm sorry and ashamed you would deny that right to any member of our armed forces.

We should have just surgically implanted miniature ultra long range RFID transmitters in those Taliban Yahoos ....without their knowledge. Then, if they return to the fight, we could open up a can of whoop drone on them. Who's to say that's not what happened?

There isn't any evidence that he didn't desert & based on that information we should never released 5 generals; one of whom has already been caught making contact with the enemy

That's all great PJ. They got five terrorist and we got a trader. Sometimes decisions need to be made without trial. Sometimes decision need to be made before a poll is taken. Sometimes one should just do the right thing, and this wasn't it.
