Bernie Sanders Takes New Hampshire, . . . sorta, . . .

Forky are you referring to the program with the $30T long term deficit?

Democrats and Socialists are now on the same team. Boiler does not find this surprising...
Nothing new about it. You know, like Medicare.

Just saw a quote attributed to Dennis Miller......

The Democrat Party has just awarded the Carolina Panthers 14 Superpoints, the
Super Bowl was a tie game!
Dennis Miller? He's still alive?

At last, . . . Someone With Authority explains it all:

From Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz:
"Unpledged delegates exist really to make sure that party leaders and elected officials don’t have to be in a position where they are running against grassroots activists. We are as a Democratic Party really highlight and emphasize inclusiveness and diversity at our convention, and so we want to give every opportunity to grassroots activists and diverse, committed Democrats to be able to participate, attend, and be a delegate at the convention. And so we separate out those, those unpledged delegates to make sure that there isn’t competition between them.”

Ref: CNN Video

See, . . . nothing crooked here, it's just so that the SuperDelegates don't have to compete with the Non-SuperDelegates selected by the little people, who might pick the wrong candidate.
Even though sanders leads in the popular vote, he trails in delegates 502-70.

In other words, the mold is already set for Hillary no matter how well Sanders does. Why bother to have the primaries?

Because whoever wins the most delegates in the primary and caucus voting will be the nominee. Just like in 2008.

Thanks for asking!

So no matter how well Bernie does in debates and primaries. No matter if Hillary is indicted, everything is already in place to see that she wins the nomination.

I ask again. Why bother to have the primaries?
I don't think to many sanders voters will rush to vote for Clinton if they feel their candidate was scammed out of the nomination.

Whatever helps you sleep at night, Hoops.

But since you're on the topic - the official Republican Establishment has already surrendered the idea of getting 50% of the vote. Their strategy now is to keep Trump under 50% too and then try to gang up on him at the convention. Talk about fireworks.
Hoops and PJ are both correct. Lots of Bernie voters won't bother with Hillary in the general election. Lots of Trump voters won't bother if what PJ predicts actually happens.
