Bernie VS Donald

What an interesting match up and I bet the Donald is correct, it'll be a widel;y watched event if it happens. Also I didnt really think of this angle, how it'll affecxt Hillary. Interesting article about it.

Trump-Sanders debate would be Hillary Clinton's worst nightmare

'Just when you thought the 2016 election was starting to get a little predictable, a big wrench has been thrown into the works.

A Donald Trump vs. Bernie Sanders debate in the coming days before the June 7th California primary is getting closer to becoming a reality. If this happens, it will likely be a huge boost for Sanders, a mild aid to Trump, and -- to borrow the key buzz word of this election so far – a YUGE pain in the neck for Hillary Clinton...

'..Needless to say, if Sanders wins this primary it will wound Mrs. Clinton greatly. And Sanders chances to do just that would rise if this debate comes off. The contest would no doubt be the most-watched event in Sanders' political life and Clinton wouldn't even be there to defend herself. For a campaign that's been suffering a number of failures lately, its refusal to debate Sanders and setting off this alternative contest vs. Trump is perhaps the biggest failure yet. She can't even benefit from a sympathy factor if Trump and Sanders get too nasty in attacking her in absentia, because her absence is entirely her own fault.

It's also not wise for Clinton to allow any major campaign event to occur without her participation. With many right wing and progressive voters still hoping she may be disqualified from the race if she is indicted over her State Department email scandal, this kind of "Clinton-less" event gives them a taste of what they've been praying for all year..."

CBS says that Trump's campaign says he was just kidding.

DonDiego, I'm the guy who last year guaranteed everyone that Hillary was the Democratic nominee and that super-delegates were not going to overrule the voters in either party. And in February I guaranteed that Trump was going to be the Republican nominee. Think of how much energy you would have save if you just listened to me.

DonDiego doesn't recall expending any energy on any of these matters. But he thanks forkushV for his concern.

Apparently it's not dead yet.

Trump Sanders Exploring Unusual Debate

At this point the only person who actually agreed to a California Debate and weaseled out is Hillary Clinton. Trump agreed if the price is right...and they are negotiating that now.
The GOP nominee wont debate the other side unless a price is paid...or release his income tax returns...or even say what his tax rate is....

But hillary is the one being secretive.

This debate will not hAppen. And im looking for trump to find ways of skipping/limiting debates in the general.....or forcing them to comply to some set of rules that allow him to avoid in depth policy questions. Look for lots of crying and excuses about how the media is hurting his feelings.

And yet Hillary is the one who weaseled out of a debate with Bernie that she had agreed to. Why is that? She just can't squeeze it into her busy campaign schedule? Or Chicken?

Um, because the race for the Democratic presidential nomination is over, and has been for some time?

I understand Trump won't be debating Kasich either.
Trump and Sanders Whip Up Debate Buzz

Excerpts:

" 'This would be a complete circus,' said Democratic media strategist Brad Bannon. 'To me, it shows more than anything else that American politics has become entertainment.'
'This is just an unbelievable spectacle,' Bannon said. 'It really upstages Hillary at a critical time for her. The Clinton folks must be furious.' ”

"Trump says his campaign has been contacted by several networks eager to get in on the action."

"Trump and Sanders agree the debate should take place in a massive arena, likely in California, where both parties will hold primary contests on June 7.
Sanders channeled his inner Trump in proposing 'the biggest stadium possible' for the debate."

"She [The Hillary] brushed off the potential debate as a joke when asked about it Thursday."
