I had a couple of good stretches. About 9 years ago I got bumped from my flight along with a few of my friends (okay, we took a voluntary bump because they overbooked). they put us up at the flamingo. My friends wanted to take in a show and I agreed but before that I went to play on the craps table. There was a newbie girl and she started rolling. 50 minutes later she sevened out but during that time she made a lot of points and hit a number of hard ways. After that the next roller took up the dice and continued rolling for another 35 minutes. A couple of shooters after that the the shooter rolled for another 45 minutes. In between my friends came by to get me, since they paid for my ticket (I forget what show they went to) I gave them $200 and told them that I was busy on the tables. There were a few more good shooters and I did well with them too.
Was funny, the newbies made the comments..."this is so much fun and easy", etc. they thought it was like this on the craps tables all the time.
Anyway, when I colored out it was the first time I got $1000 chips. Never did that before, or after. I was on the tables for about 4 1/2 hours that time.
Now recently, I had a good roll on a bunch of tables about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It was my last day in vegas. After breakfast I hit the el cortez craps table and proceeded to roll for about 40 minutes. Small time player but I still made about $200. checked out of the el cortez and played at the fremont where I won about $150 on the craps table. I tried the megabucks right after at the fremont and won another $180. I walked over to MSS and also enjoyed a good roll at the craps table. I made about $450 on that one. I paid off some markers with my winnings and cruised around the strip in the afternoon. Played a little but didn't win anything. I went back downtown in the late afternoon and hit the fremont again where I hit for another $200 on the craps tables. Then moved back to the MSS and won anther $400. After that I was able to pay off all my markers. Went to the cosmo for a vegas message board meet and I played the megabucks machine and won another $200.
This was the best run I ever had in a day, seemed like I couldn't lose. Usually I lose the most on my last day because I try to push my bets with the hope of breaking even or winning before I leave. Some trips I even quit gambling early because it just seemed like I couldn't win anywhere. This was the first time it ever happenned that I did well on my last day there. Overall I lost money but most of my gambling losses were covered. The rest was lost because I spent money at the strip clubs and buying stuff at stores but overall I think I only lost a few hundred on my trip. Wish all my trips come out that way, was really enjoyable when you are winning on your last day.
