Best food deals / Happy Hour Munchies

I will be in Vegas at the end of February and could use some advice. Where are your favorite places to get some inexpensive food? I have done Happy Hour food before and it works for me. Any great places for breakfast? I will not have a car, so I will be limited to the Strip and Downtown. Thanks for any tips.
I have never been up in time for breakfast. If you can make it to 3 pm on Fremont street, I recommend:
777 brew pub at Main Street (good, inexpensive beer and various food specials, though no VP at the bar).
Chicago Brewing Company at 4 Queens (good beer and 1/2 price apps, with VP at the bar).
Avoid the strip.
Really like the Grotto's and the Chart House for Happy Hour fine eats and a place to relax. Golden Nugget Downtown's finest...
Chicago Brewery no longer has 1/2 apps for HH.

I found this place on my last trip. They have amazing donuts. I got one with Reeses Peanut Butter cups broken up on top.

Its on 6th Street next door to the Container Park downtown.
Donut Bar

Its also next door to EAT which is arguably downtown's best breakfast spot.
+1 vote on Donut Bar in downtown Vegas. I had an Apple Fritter and some sort of donut filled with strawberries in October and both were amazing! The Donut bar is about 1 block from El Cortez.

Now that Bardot Brasserie at Aria has resuscitated happy hour, I would recommend for high-falutin' tartines (Beef Bourguignon with Bourdelaise and fried egg or grilled shrimp with saffron rouille) to name two, or Prime Steak or Smoked Salmon Tartare or Poutine Lyonnaise with Gruyere. All $8 at the bag.

If that's not your style, maybe Wagyu sliders with truffle fries at STK on third floor of Cosmo. $10 during happy hour.
I haven't eaten there in a few years, but Maggianos in the Fashion Mall had half price drinks and appetizers that were fantastic. Three softball sized meatballs were around $4.
Happy Hours are a great way to experience high end food and drink without breaking the bank or stuffing yourself on a dinner buffet. On my December trip, we hit 5 happy hours. Here's some details on three of them.

CHART HOUSE (Golden Nugget) 4-6 MONDAY - FRIDAY
Chart House--Golden Nugget Happy Hour Menu
Chart House offers one of my all time favorite Happy Hours. The Servings are big, the setting excellent, and the food is delicious.

Chart House $4.00 Martini--It wasn't a Bombay Sapphire, but still pretty good!

Chart House: Mediterranean Chicken Pita. Grilled branzino herb chicken, shaved lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, tzatziki sauceShrimp

Chart House: Fish Taco. Blackened mahi, warm tortilla, cabbage, Jack cheese, pico de gallo, ranch dressing

All three including Prime Rib Sliders with caramelized onions, Jack cheese, horseradish sauce

CENTER CUT STEAKHOUSE (Flamingo) 5-7 Daily + 9-10 Late Night.
Center Cut Happy hour was surprisingly excellent. From the $5.00 Premium Cocktails to each small plate...this one really shines!

Center Cut--Flamingo Happy Hour Menu

Center Cut: Dirty Spiced Fries. BBQ brisket, jalapeño, queso and a fried egg.

Center Cut: Center Cut Sesame Beef Skewers with pickled shitake salad

Center Cut. Wagyu Sliders with aged white cheddar cheese, caramelized shallot and brioche

Center Cut: Gimlet with Tanguery Ten and fresh lime juice

REDWOOD GRILL (California) 4-6 Daily.
Another surprisingly good Happy Hour.

Redwood Grill--California Hotel/Casino Happy Hour Menu

Redwood Grill: Prime Rib Dips and House Made Chips. Shaved prime rib, caraway rye rolls, horseradish cream. House made potato chips, Maui onion & Big Island BBQ dip

I also had the $7.00 Hendrick’s Cucumber Tonic...Hendrick’s gin, cucumber, St. Germain, Elderflower, tonic water..A refrishing Gin and Tonic.
