Best new happy hour or old school happy hour.

We all know Vegas is ever changing. I have many times walked in somewhere and the restaurant I wanted to go to is gone. ... So what are some new favorite happy places or what old trusties do you still frequent?
Red Rocks and Maggianos- more for the food then the drinks.
Triple Seven Brew pub for the brews and snacks.
And happy hour or not, it's kind of hard to dislike the fusty old bar in the golden gate, (but that really doesn't have anything to do with the scantily clad dealer-dancers, now, does it?).
I'm either the kiss of death or have very bad taste in restaurants. Every time I find a favorite, they go out of business shortly thereafter:

Burgundy Room at the old Lady Luck closed 2 weeks after our meal.
Roberta's at the old El Cortez closed a few years after we ate there
Drai's at the old Barbary Coast closed 1 week after our meal
The steakhouse at Bill's closed a few days after our meal
Range Steakhouse at Harrah's closed for renovations a few weeks after our meal and now it's a Ruth Chris
Steak 46(?) at Flamingo
That New Orlean's place at the old (new) Aladdin Commanders(?) closed a month after our meal. How can you not like 25 cent martinis.

Like Grimaldi's, Yard House, Ocean One in the MMM. They used to have 4 for 1 drinks. Whoa. Stumbled round the mall a few times.

Now that we've been renting a car, we hit the off strip places a lot more. There is so much comped booze flowing in the casinos that happy hours in Vegas are not a big draw.

One I forgot that closed up was a Charlie Palmer place in the back of Palazzo. That place wasn't that good with its snooty absinthe bartender.
Been Grand Lux, it's still holding on
Been to CC steakhouse. We don't want to jinx it but we really like that place.
Golden Steer was just good. Not great. Seemed a little slow in there so don't be surprised if it goes belly up.
We've been to DuPar's. Great place for breakfast downtown.
That was ChRlie Trotter's place at Palazzo, not Charlie Palmer.
The last I checked, any drink at BLT Steak was half off at the bar from 5 to 6 p.m. Johnny Walker Blue included.

You can also get their great popovers. Don't let them ruin your appetite.
I like the 777 inside the MSS from 3-6 week days. Decent food specials. A basket of wings for $5.
NONE to ballistic heat on request.
Average steak dinner for $20.

16 OZ. craft beers for $2.50https://s514.photobucket.com/user/ddd228/media/temporary_60.jpg.html

Really nice bar at the Hard Rock.4-7PM:2 for ones. 'Sides,I like the music.

I read the the Center Bar is now at floor level: no stairs.
