Best pool in Laughlin?

Any thoughts on this? Might spend a night in Laughlin this September.
I've been wanting to go to Laughlin and next time we go to Vegas will probably try and spend half(maybe more) of our time there. Along with this question, what's the best place to stay that's conducive to laying on a beach?
Oh shoot, don't mean to hijack your thread PJ, I'm interested in the pool also.
I have heard that the AVI has the best pool in the area although it is not on the main strip of Laughlin. The AVI has an adults only pool which is great. Harrahs Laughlin also has two pools, one is adults only. I'm not sure of the others.
Harrahs also is the only resort on the Laughlin strip with a beach on the river. They have two pools on properties....one family which is over run with kids and one adults only which is largely a senior citizen pool. If you're between 20 and 50, most hang on the beach and the cool river water feels so good when its 110 outside.

There are no Vegas-style pools in Laughlin. I would say Harrah's is the head of the class with separate pool for kids and adults. Both have hot tubs a few steps away from the pool. Lots of palm trees and nice view of the river if you walk to the railing. River Palms might be second-best. Best view of the Colorado River with beautiful dark green grass surrounding an ordinary pool. But River Palms is a complete ghost town now. They've cleared out the casino and the most of the restaurants. I have no idea how they can recover.

Every other pool in Laughlin is a ceeee-ment pond.
Does Granny, Jethro, and Elly May hang there?

There is no "best" pool in Laughlin. Try the river.
My vote would go to Harrah's because of the beach.
The AVI looks pretty nice. Think I might give that a try. Thanks
