I love prime rib and have had it at a lot of pricy restaurants but the one at Ellis Island was the best I've ever had. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection.

ROAST PRIME RIB OF BEEF AU JUS*
12 Oz. Queen Cut 22. | 16 Oz. King Cut 28.
Slow Roasted, Hand Cut: An El Cortez Classic, Served With Au Jus
Use the LVA 2 for 1 Entre and the price is $11 or $14.
QuoteOk..Sorry I think we're talking about two different things. I'm talking about the big Prime's they used to serve at Roberta's or Flame. They were always in the $20-$25 range...High Quality and a great deal with the old LVA 1/2 off. Those same hunks of beef are still available for $22 or $28 at Siegels' (or so they say). Still a great deal with the LVA 2 for 1. I think you're talking about the special at the old Café Cortez.

The old special was $7.95 and included a salad. The PR for lunch is now $11.95, thin as hell and it's $3 for a side salad. $8 vs $15. They even charged me $1 for a dollop of sour cream. I had it twice and it was extremely mediocre.
The only decently priced meal in the casino these days is their Jackie Burger for $6. Their NY style pizza is a joke.
