Best property to use for Caesars 'retreat'

And especially either the suite with the Champaign Glass Tub or the Heart-Shaped Tub.

Of course it all depends on exactly what kind of "retreat" anniea is planning for.

Caesars has divested from the Poconos. If one is interested in the Poconos, I highly recommend the room with the private pool in it. Highly recommend it.

Harrahs NO is hugely overrated. There's certainly the fascination with Bourbon St., the French Quarter etc., but the city overall is a cesspool and very dangerous. What do they have, a river? The climate is a joke too. The hotels are crap and there's too many strange poor people to be comfortable anywhere. The food tastes great, but it's loaded with trans fats, saturated fats, sugars, and enough calories to satisfy the biggest of butts who are trying to get diabetes.

A Pocono resort would be enjoyable, unless Jerry Sandusky's been in any of the resorts there.

Hmmm, I guess we had a different experience from you. I find the local people to be very nice and friendly and I didn't find it dangerous at all, but I also wasn't wandering around at night either.

Harrahs hotel is very nice and the weather is just the same as any other southern state, so no shocker there.

As far as food goes, they have some of the nicest restaurants in the country. Not all food is loaded down with trans/saturated fats, sugars etc... You just need to know how to choose the right foods off the menu, just like any other restaurant.

I do have to say, there was a certain element of people that were in the casino later in the evening, which made me feel a little uncomfortable, but they were there to go to the club.

DonDiego apologizes if'n he got anniea all excited about the prospect of a retreat in the Poconos.

I've visited the Harrah's New Orleans casino during two trips, although it has been some time ago. I have also visited Bourbon Street during several additional trips while not visiting the casino.

I understand why Albeadle might consider this location dangerous. If he acts anything like he does while on this site, lots of folks might consider injuring or killing Al Bundy...............err AlBeadle.
