I 100% agree with you that Breaking Bad is the best TV show ever made. I don't think they left even one loose end when it was all over. The only complaint I have is that they always had that baby dressed in clothes that were way too warm for New Mexico and she wore one of those newborn hats way too long. I was lucky to discover BB way late in the game and was able to binge watch all but the last six episodes. That was a great month or so.
We did the same thing, our son and his friends watched it religiously but we never had any interest. Until I happened to catch the first couple episodes when AMC was doing a marathon and it looked interesting enough so I hit record on the DVR. Well my wife and I started watching and were hooked. We did abot the same although it may have taken more than a month, we certainly did our share of binge watching. Awesome show, probably best I've ever watched.

I had never seen Breaking Bad until I received the 6 season (not 5) DVD set for Christmas last year. As a continuing story line series, it probably is the best TV series ever made. It not only kept my attention, wanting to see the next show, it had more "I didn't see that coming" moments than any other series I've seen. Way more. The writing and casting was about as good as it gets.
