Best Value - High Dollar

Have never tried a brunch in Las Vegas, as my annual trip is always from Monday to Friday. They always sound so good. For me, my splurge is the late 3:40 lunch, quasi "dinner" buffet at The Buffet at Bellagio. Pay the lunch price, but always are essentially going for the dinner, with the different kinds of crab legs and the kobe beef. Runs just over $43 combined for the two of us, but is a splurge for me, as I am used to 2 for 1's and many other meal bills in Las Vegas only run $20 combined for me.
1. The Omakase dinner at Shibuya. I think it's about $130, but a spectacular meal. I don't do it every trip, but I love it

2. Upgrade to first class on the flight in, when available

Dan, how much does that Jasmine Brunch run per person? sounds fabulous
Jasmine brunch is on my list of places to try.

To answer the question, Sterling Brunch.

Hi Karen,

From relatively recent memory, it's $58/pp for the base brunch with no drinks.

You can do drinks on an a la carte basis or choose one of three Sparkling/Champage options. Entry level is Chateau St. Michelle at an additional $20. The middle one I think is Henriot which is either a $30 or $40 add on and the premium choice is Veuve Cliquot at $50.

If you're going to do the all you can drink variant of Veuve, it's more expensive than Sterling but I think it's worth the $20 premium. If you're a one or two drink person or a non-drinker, the Jasmine brunch is a no brainer.

I think Jasmine is calling my name October 9.
I think the two best high-ticket bang-for I've experienced are Shadow Creek and the omakase at Okada.
Wolf Creek Golf in Mesquite

BB Kings in the Mirage

A headliner show - Celine, Rod Stewart, or Geechy Guy

Lobster Pot Pie at Nobhill (MGM Grand) or Michael Mina (Bellagio) - $100 or more but worth every penny.
I had the Lobster pot Pie at Nob Hill about 5 years ago. I think it was $75 then and it was incredible. Is it really over $100 now? I don't know if now I could bring myself to spend $100 for a single entree no matter how awesome

It's listed on their menu as "MP". The last time we or a guest had it, I believe it was $95 so it does in fact vary slightly.

Going to try happy hour at American Fish tonight between 5-7. It's not exactly high dollar with appetizers at $5 and wines by the glass at $7 but I'm hoping it does represent good quality and value.
