BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

I have had to cancel my Vegas trip which was to start tomorrow until Tuesday evening as I

was diagnosed with Shingles. I'm not a happy camper that's for damn sure. Hopefully will

get to Vegas sometime in mid April or so next year.

Oh man Diane, so sorry to hear that. My mom gto shingles a couple years back and from what I understand, it's not a lot of fun. Best wishes to ya and Godspeed.

Ouch. Hope it's a mild case. I went down that road a couple years ago - I'm really a wimp when it comes to pain, and it was almost unbearable at times. Best wishes for a quick recovery!

Good, I got my shot because a friend of mine had them and told me how painfull they were.

I've never had the chicken pox but I got the chicken pox vaccine a few years ago. Spent a few months working on the facility where the vaccine is made. Pretty cool manufacturing process.

Hi Diane, sorry about the bad news. I've heard that accupuncture helps to relieve the pain of shingles. You might want to research this and see if it could help you. Good Luck!

Oh No! That's awful news on both fronts - a missed trip to Vegas always sucks, but to have shingles is worse! Hubby has had it a couple times and I sincerely sympathize with you after seeing what he went through. I know how much pain he was in while it ran it's course. I hope you only have a mild case that clears up quickly. Take care and get well soon!
