Big Elvis moving to Harrah's May 3rd

What will become of Bill's? I think Big Elvis was keeping the place going.

Big E to Harrah's
I'm sure he was a major draw to that place.
Wow, I was just at his show a couple of weeks ago. He puts on a helluva show! I even got to be an "Elv-ette" on stage with him for "Viva Las Vegas". It was the high point of my trip. I will be sure to attend his show at the new location on my next trip. If you haven't seen the show, you really should.
I agree; saw his show about a year ago and just loved it . I have recommended it to many friends who didn't realize he had a show at Bill's. The story of his life, struggle to lose weight, etc. is very inspirational as well. He seems like a really neat guy. I hope to see him again whenever I go back to Las Vegas in the future.........

The Big Elvis show, in my opinion, is one of the best kept secrets in Las Vegas.
Here are some reasons why it is great:
1. The show is free.
2. He really sounds like Elvis.
3. His sidekick Chuck does a decent Conway Twitty impersonation.
4. If his wife Amanda is at the show, she likes to dance around (which adds energy to his performance) and she is from Hawaii!
5. It is fun to watch people come up and help him perform "Viva Las Vegas."
6. He has an inspiring weight loss story (literally several hundred pounds).
7. He will take requests from the audience (for some reason I get too shy to yell one out so I just hope that he sings my favorite "American Trilogy.")
Just a quick tip: arrive early (about 30 minutes before the show) to get a seat. Otherwise you will have to stand on the sidelines.
Aloha,
Jennifer
That's why I think it's great he's moving. It may not be good for the Barbary Coast but it's great for him.
Great performer, gracious man...big loss for Bill's. Perhaps the end is coming for them.
He's just moving up the ladder of life!

Glad to see it's still being called the "Barbary Coast"

Speaking of Barbary Coast has anyone heard from Jenaphir? Just hearing her call Bill's Barbary Coast always made me chuckle.
