Biggest flop in Vegas history?

Viva Elvis' closing has me thinking about whether it qualifies as the biggest flop in Vegas history.

It cost millions of dollars to put that show together, and it was a consistent disappointment until they finally pulled the plug on it.

Is there another show that so much money and time was put into prepping for and which ultimately failed miserably?
I am thinking the biggest flop is in Girls of Glitter Gulch - can't remember her name though
Never seen it but heard Chriss Angels' "Believe " never did very well. Actually is it still going? It was last time we were therw.

We saw it - Only cirque I ever saw the audience boo!

I didn't care for either (and I usually love Cirque shows) but Believe is FAR worse than Viva Elvis ever could be! the only reason Believe is still running is that Criss Angel managed to get a long term contract - they have to keep paying him, so the show goes on.
To accurately determine which show was the greatest financial flop, I'd need to see financial statements. But from the standpoint of expectations, one of the greatest flops in Las Vegas history was...Elvis Presley, the first time he had a gig there.
How about maybe too many Cirque shows out there and maybe Fonzie has started up the ramp leading to the shark tank?

I think Mandalay Bay is still pressing forward with the Cirque show about Michael Jackson. I can see foreigners loving it, but I think many Americans won't be interested in it.

Saw this show in Boston as it makes its way around the country. Not what you would expect from a Cirque show. Lots of dancing and little acrobatics. If you go expecting anything like Mystrye then you will be disappointed.
Not even close.

It has to be MGM's building of "The Harmon" in the CityCenter - this is a financial black hole that still continues today.
