Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall to reopen as Gansevoort Las Vegas

G Spot would have been a better name.
Gann-seh-vort. Three syllables, not difficult.

Man-dah-lay
Bell-ah-gio
Trah-pik-ann-uh
Flaah-meen-go

We can do this.

Its awful..especially when you consider there's still over 20 letters in the alphabet they haven't utilized for resort names.

They should just call it "The G"

In keeping with your three syllable examples Chilcoot how about adding Strat-tas-fear and eliminating Trah-pik-ann-uh?

Can I play? O-hi-o & I-o-wa

The Gansevoort Family migrated to the Dutch Colony of Fort Orange (in what is now upstate New York) around 1600AD. On July 17, 1749 Harman and Magdalena Gansevoort welcomed their newborn son Peter into their home in Albany.

Peter grew up to become a Colonel in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, best known for leading the resistance to the Siege of Fort Stanwix (now Fort Gansevoort) in 1777. In his honor lots of place names were changed to Gansevoort, . . . including part of Manhattan's Meatpacking District renamed the Gansevoort Market Historic District in 2003; the Gansevoort Hotel opened there in 2004.

The owner of the hotel and several resorts in the Turks and Caicos is The Gansevoort Hotel Group.

Caesar's Entertainment Corporation, the Gansevoort Hotel Group, and Victor Drai have teamed up to operate the new Las Vegas resort.
