Speculation on other fictional characters methods of dealing with OBL:

Spiderman would have would have left him hanging in a web, with a note for the police.
Zorro would have cut a "Z" in his clothing.

I kinda like the way it was handled in real life.

No. Read what I said. I said I think that he was dying. He was 66 years old and on dialysis. I don't know how long people live on this in this country but it can't be longer over there as over here. And where in the world in my post did I say he was dumped from an airplane????? This was just one opinion on what I thought might have happened. I never said it was fact.

Who gained the most from his death?
With him gone, will the Afgan government come to an agreement with the Taliban for some sort of power sharing. Will the US stop its drone attacks inside Pakistan? Will we finally stop giving hundreds of millions of dollars to our great allies, the Pakistani junta?

Ummm...thats 1.5 billion to them last i heard.

My humble opinion is cut off ALL foreign aid. Hell with everyone else,we got ourselves in a huge mess here at home. Spend the money here.

But thats just the isolationists in me talking,makes sense tho.

Is there OIL in Pakistan? How much? Is it readily available?

A little late to reply, but had to post some though

@rayxtwo: The whole dialysis thing is largely thought to be an urban legend. I haven't see any real evidence to support it and no evidence was found in the compound that I am aware of to suggest that he was ever on dialysis.

Another interesting thing to note is this; the Bush and bin Laden families go waaaay back. (You know, the whole oil thing). As a matter of fact, 41 and one of the bin Laden clan served on the board of an investment capital firm, or something like that. They were having breakfast together the day of the attacks in NY.

Interesting . . .
