Binions Promo

We were at Binion's last week. They have a lot of promotions going on. We won $10 in non-negotiable chips and a $10 match play coupon. Tried to bet the chips and coupon on red but where told we could not match the promo chips. So, we bet the promo chips, won and got $10 in real chips. They took our promo chips. I thought we'd get to keep the promo chips. Then we bet the $10 in real chips and the match play coupon on red. Won that and got a total of $30 that we cashed out and left. Is this the way these promos pay out at all casinos?

Some casinos they are "play till you lose them" and some are just a one time bet. Congrats on the $30 win

Thanks! My wife won the money. I won a free drink. I asked for Jack and Coke but they balked and said I could only have whiskey and cola. Times are tough downtown.

How did you get the promo?

We were new card members. After earning 10 pts for the day, we got to spin an electronic wheel that spit out a voucher for the prize.

Current card members can earn 3 spins on the wheel per day. 10 points first spin. 40 points second spin and 100 points third spin. The prizes increase in value as you earn more spins. Pretty good promo. Warning that if you win free slot play you must take the printed voucher to the players club. It is not automatically put on your card.

It has been my experience that promo chips are good for one play only, and are usually only good for even money bets. I would assume that they would still pay a Blackjack off at 6 to 5 or 3 to 2.
