Bitter old man Rush Limbaugh finally admits the truth

This comes on the heels that his station in Chicago is getting ready to can him.

If you listened to Rush's monologue yesterday, he was spot on. The advertizers go after the 25 - 54 demographic because they are young, have disposable income, and can be swayed.

He argued that people over 54 generally have more wealth. Many many millenials still live at home because they are underemployed and cannot afford to be on their own. People over 54 are not the advertizers target because they are less impressionable.

Being a businessman, Rush is always interested in how the different demographics "think" and he seems to have been pretty successful doing this.

How does this make him a bitter old man?

BTW - WLS AM in Chicago is changing their line ups entirely bringing back retreads like Steve Dahl and Jonathan Brandmeirer. If they eliminate Rush, there are 10 other stations that will gobble up his show in a heartbeat. His ratings still kick the pants off Air America.

I think malliber should stick more to his porn rather than trying to stir things up.

Rush makes a living by telling impressionable people how to think. I'm sorry to see him go (if thats what is happening). He reminds non-impressionable people why they vote for Democrats

I will have you know it is art! Anyway Limbaugh is number 31 in that demographic in that market, and number 24 overall. He is simply a market failure.

We here at the FFA have to be cautious when bringing up ole Rush Limbaugh......who is a hero to the easily gullible Republicans that pollute the LVA.

Most of the "usual suspects" here at the FreeForAll would line up in a blizzard and wait for hours....just to kiss his ring. He is a god like creature that can do no wrong in their eyes.

Am going to provide a link to a story how this AM frightwing radio thing got started. It's a good read and MOST people will find it interesting, along with deeply troubling. Of course, the usual suspects will not find it to their liking.....mostly because it is full of TRUTH and also because it's not Koch approved.

That is the past. The future is the company that owns the rights to his show is billions of dollars in debt that it has no hopes in repaying and lost several more millions of dollars last quarter. Rusty is a declining asset. The 50-59 year old white male Republican hipsters (LOL) are listing to that cool young Mark Levin cat.

Of course it could be worse for old Rusty, he could be Sean Hannity.
