"Taylor's brother, Jerrail Taylor, raised issues last week about racial profiling. He said his brother was Hispanic."
And it would appear there is protest and demonstrations....and the family is specifically citing the Ferguson incident as something comparable to their situation....(Again from DD's article)...
"Taylor's friends and family protested his death and demanded answers from police Monday in a rally across the street from the Public Safety Building.
Another demonstration is planned for Wednesday night outside the Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building for not only Taylor but also for Michael Brown, the unarmed teenager police shot and killed in Ferguson, Missouri."
Dont worry, guys! Sooner or later a white person will be the subject of a questionable police shooting. Maybe then people like Albeadle will realize our country has a problem with trigger happy police departments.
__DonDiego linked the article, to present the details of the incident. DonDiego is not on-a-side in this matter. DonDiego doesn't feel obligated to pick a side in lots of things.
__DonDiego does not object to peaceful protests and demonstrations.
__If the incident sparks looting, arson, and general thuggery in Salt Lake City DonDiego will advocate strict application of law enforcement to the perpetrators.
__If the police officer acted inappropriately DonDiego advocates strict imposition of whatever penalty is available by Law.
[Why does poor old DonDiego get the impression that pjstroh wants to start a fight with DonDiego, when he hopes pjstroh shares DonDiego's opinions on this matter, as detailed above,]
