Blackjack Bonus game

Hi everyone, heading out to Vegas in 5 weeks. In the UK, we have a Blackjack Bonus game called Perfect Pairs. Basically a 6 deck game and if you are dealt a pair then you get a bonus payout based on how perfect they are. ie Exact same; Same colour; Different colours.

Does anyone know if this exists in LV and if so, what casino ?
The most common side-bets in 'merica are Lucky Ladies and Royal Match.

The Wizard of Odds explains these and many other side-bets, including Perfect Pairs.
As The Wizard explains the house edge is actually lower with more decks !

The Royal Match is offered at the El Cortez Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. DonDiego seldom participates in these side-bets, but he suspects one is more likely to find them downtown and at the low-class type casinos in which one is also more likely to find DonDiego.

Stanford Wong's Current Blackjack News, available at Mr. Wong's website in paper-form or via e-mail, details blackjack rules for all American casinos including the availability of side-bets.
Last summer (June) we saw the Perfect Pairs played at Bill's Casino (the old Barbary Coast). Played it for a bit and hit a few times.

I love side bets on BlackJack. I know it isn't "smart" to play side bets, but hey I love gambling and it is my excitement!
I have seen it as a side-bet in some BJ games, mostly downtown.

Two first cards of the same suite (spades, hearts, etc.) dealt to the bettor makes you a 2-1 winner.

At Circus Circus, you can get their FREE "Fun Book" from the convenience store at the "back" as you walk from the casino to the hotel lobby. There is a coupon for a $1.00 free BJ side bet at both Circus Circus and Slots O Fun. Don't remember what BJ side bets they offer.

You can get the fun books daily, and while I was there I asked the clerk "for one for my wife also." There are some other gaming coupons as well, although I don't remember what they were.

Register for "WIN" cards at the Players Club. $10 gets $15 in non-negotiable chips, plus $1.00 dealer tip coupon also!

good luck

I don't recall seeing Perfect Pairs on a BJ table in Vegas. Royal Match and Lucky Ladies are more popular. both are pretty hard for the non-counter to beat, but I'd play Lucky Ladies before I'd play Royal Match.
I did see Perfect Pair offered at Harrahs in laughlin so it might be offered at some Harrahs property in Vegas.
Just shooting the breeze here....

Once in a while, I'll feel the urge to play the side bet during blackjack and invariably lose the majority of the time. At the El Cortez, blackjack games have cheap deal-ins (i.e. $3 hands or $5 hands) and many locals play there FOR the side-bets. I have been at tables where I am the only one NOT playing the side-bet and everyone else is putting the minimum $ on the blackjack hand and $5-50 on the side bet. Although the statistics say the side-bets aren't a good deal overall, I have seen quite a few 'lucky' people make hundreds, up to thousands over the night, on them. Of course, I have also seen people go through hundreds on the side-bet. But, it is fun to play if you're having a 'lucky' night. (And....often....if I'm playing and get a matched Q-K...which pays 10-1....many of the locals kind of chew me out for not playing it! In fact, some of them get downright mad at me if I don't play the side-bet and 'won'. lol)
Thanks for this. Will check out Bills then to see :-)
I won a QQh hand against the dealers Qh in a Lucky Ladies side bet. I had $25 on it...
125 t0 1 = $3,125.
I will play Spanish 21 over any BJ side bet table anytime. I love S21..anyone else play it?
If you enjoy the BJ's tables with the side bets, you will love S21.
They have a match the dealer bet, unsuited 3-1 / suited 12-1. Then many other extra payouts included in your regular bet.
If you get a 3 or 5 card 21, It's pays 3-2. 6 card 2-1. 7 or more 3-1. Any 21 hit you get paid instantly, so worries or a push.
If you hit a 6-7-8 unsuited..3-2, suited 2-1. Spade suited 3-1.
After you split aces you can keep hitting. All DD's have surrender. You can double down anytime.
The downsides are they take the 10's out and they use auto shufflers.

Where do you play SP21? Have you read Katrina Walkers book on it?
