I didn't evade anything; you never asked that question, did you redietz? And yeah, casinos hire Dancer because they are happy to have players who know enough about the games to be excited, but not enough to have an advantage. Which is the majority I'm sure.

I'll bet that most ethical and accurate diet books usually don't have too much long-term impact on their readers either. As long as results aren't over-promised, no one should have a problem with that either. Even is someone is making a profit.
Arc do you think your knowledge of statistics influences the RNG in a video poker machine?
Forkie, you expressed that Dancer stated to his own daughter not to get involved with VP as she would do very badly.

Can you tell me WHY then Dancer is still selling and promoting his books??

No, it's his knowledge of statistics that enables him to understand the RNG in a video poker machine

No kaypea try again. Does knowledge of stats or math influence the deal or draw of a VP machine? Yes or no?

Because his niece is not part of his target audience, because others can do well at it, and to make money.

Yes, knowledge of mathematics by the player will influence the RNG in a way that is positive for the player. The machine will sense that the player is mathematically inclined and feel a spiritual bond with the player who can think in ones and zeros like a brother. The real secret of AP is that the machines feel a kinship to the logic based player and give them the royals that they have been saving up from the plebes who only believe in luck.

This is akin to a BJ dealer that will "accidentally" flash a hole card to a cute player.
Thank you kaypea. So do you agree that knowledge of "the math" can help to improve your chances of winning but cannot make you win? If so then we agree on that.

There is only ONE game in a casino that the result of the game is based ONLY on the player. Do you know what that game is?

No, I'm saying that the machine will give you extra wins because it knows you are a brother in logic and understand the world of mathematics. In other words it cheats for the cute players just like a human dealer.

On a related note, I was reading some calculations done by the Wizzard of Odds. A royal will statistically come up in 1 of every 40K hands. The probability of hitting a cold streak so cold that you don't hit a royal in 400K hands (10x normal) is 1 in 22,000. So the probability that the RNG won't like you because you don't know math or because you aren't cute is pretty slim.

I never received any favors from slots by knowing certain things. However sometimes if I rub a slot a certain way......
