Thank you kaypea. So do you agree that knowledge of "the math" can help to improve your chances of winning but cannot make you win? If so then we agree on that.

There is only ONE game in a casino that the result of the game is based ONLY on the player. Do you know what that game is?

Wow, they offer chess in casinos now?

Slot machines aren't as intellectual as the VP machines. You have to impress a VP machine with your intellectual knowledge, whereas with the slots you have to know how to rub them the right way to get them to give up the goods.
Nope, not chess. But there is only ONE game in a casino that the outcome of the game is decided ONLY by the player. And it's not poker either.
The suspense is killing me. I can't wait to hear the answer revealed.

Is Rock, Paper, Scissors a Casino Game? Can't be Baccarat.
Baccarat. The player holds his/her fate in their own hands. Just guess which side wins the next hand dealt.
started a new thread with the question.

Arc do you think your knowledge of statistics influences the RNG in a video poker machine?

Of course not. My knowledge allows me to understand when a properly functioning RNG will give me an advantage over the casino. So, I don't need to "influence" anything, just understand the math.
Very good, Arc. Agreed.
