Spring semester started today, with a standing room only crowd at South Point Casino.
Classes will be held every Wednesday at noon, with many weeks having a beginner class at noon, and an advanced class around 2pm.
I highly recommend theses classes,even if you are only in town for a week. At today's advanced class, a gentleman who had skipped the noon beginners class, said he'd been playing for years and had no idea how little he actually knew until we started on the quiz portion of the class.
If you come, come early. Hard to hear in the back and who wants to stand for hours.

I attended one and it was really pretty interesting.....the problem for me was that it wasn't a game I prefer. I happened to be at South Point and wandered in for a look see. He doesn't schedule far enough in advance for people flying in.....just my opinion, but my trips are planned before he announces his schedules. For example, my next trip is May and I don't see him having anything set for May yet.

All classes will be held in the Silverado Lounge which is in front of Don Vito’s Italian Restaurant.

Except where noted, there will be a beginner’s class from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. and an intermediate class from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Classes are free and everyone at least 21 years old is welcome.
