Bob Woodward opines the Clinton Foundation is corrupt (POL)

Bob Woodward must be part of the vast right wing conspiracy - along with the Huffington Post!

Veteran journalist Bob Woodward didn’t leave any ambiguity about his own views regarding the Clinton Foundation.

“It’s corrupt,” Woodward said on Fox. “It’s a scandal.”

“The mixing of speech fees, the Clinton Foundation and actions by the State Department which she ran are all intertwined,” he said. “And it’s corrupt. You can’t just say it’s unsavory.”

How is a private citizen requesting money for a charity illegal, corrupt or pay for play?
She was long gone from State when this occurred?

You need to seriously read up on this before you make such ignorant questions like the one above.

She left the State Department in 2012. In 2014 , she and her aides arraigned a symposium in Morocco. The King of Morocco agreed to donate money to the Charity and pay for the symposium if Hillary came and spoke.
What does this have to do with the State Department?
I have read the unverified email accounts. So Ill ask again? Where is the pay for play?

OK, I'll play along with this fiasco......IF, and that's a big if, the deal was being negotiated AFTER her time at state, and there is plenty to argue there, THEN she was running for President! Or doesn't that count? AND if this was on the up and up, why didn't she fulfill her end of the deal? The reason is because the whole thing STINKS. To understand Woodard's answer, you actually have to look at the question he was asked...which was not entirely about the 12 Million Dollar donation for the Speech for the King of Morocco.

When you see what seems to be clear evidence that Clinton Foundation donors were being treated differently than non-donors in terms of access, when you see this new revelations about the $12 million deal between Hillary Clinton, the Foundation and the King of Morocco, are voters right to be troubled by this?”

So, you see Wallace was talking about other allegations and 'evidence that Clinton Foundation donors were being treated differently than non-donors in terms of access'. Of course, Wallace was referring here to Clinton's time at State.

Woodward's response was: "Yes. It's corrupt. It's a scandal". Given the question he was asked, Woodward was making a final appraisal on the entirety of the Clinton Foundation and Political favoritism....Not just the optics of a Presidential Candidate negotiating a 12 Million Dollar donation from a North African dictator.

So you don't think Moracco will expect anything in return? Pay to play does not need to occur the same day, week, month, or year. So many folks have paid off the Clinton's, that much will be expected if Hillary is elected President. Can't you see that?

Yes, I can see how a 12 million dollar donation to a charity will corrupt someone running a country with a budget in the trillions.
I'm sure she will sell the U.S. out to Moracco the first chance she gets. Be vigilant.
