Bombing Agrabah ?

Republicans don't want America to indiscriminately bomb people. What we do want is to bomb areas with a high concentration of terrorists, understanding that there will be collateral damage. If we began such bombings, the non-terrorists will quickly figure it out and migrate away from the terrorists. After 75 years of losing wars, it's quite simple to see that our "hunt and peck" method isn't a winning formula.

No problemo!

Please see DonDiego's initial post to start this thread. If DD's sources are to be believed, many Republicans would like to indiscriminately bomb people, while many Democrats would like to indiscriminately help refugees.

I believe it, don't you?

Given that Ă˜bama has bombed 7 countries, he must be just like "many Republicans".

There is also no doubt that "many Democrats" want to "help" jihadist "refugees" by indiscriminately allowing them to enter America.
God bless us, everyone!
"while many Democrats would like to indiscriminately help refugees."

Or that many democrats are willing to accept people from a country that they don't know anything about or what they stand for. That isn't very smart. The govt's primary responsibility is to protect it's people

Actually many ill-informed Democrats would be willing to accept people from a fictional country. And many ill-informed Republicans would be willing to bomb a fictional country.

But this shows that one party is substantially motivated by the desire to help people, while the other party is substantially motivated by hatred, bigotry, selfishness, and above all, cowardice.

You must be so proud.
Boiler suggest that when America is ready to win, we will carpet bomb areas with a high concentration of terrorists. Why you ask? Because that's how you win a war. We've been "hunting and pecking" during wars for 75 years, and we've been leaving every war with a tail between our legs for 75 years.

Win the war!

I think we need to nuke Canada, so we don't get more Ted Cruz's sneaking across the border.
Thanks Forkie but the democrat party has "helped" me enough already.

.

Dude...70% of Republicans did not support the bombing of Agrabah in the poll. Twist the facts much? There's a word for people who prejudge millions of their fellow countrymen based upon some distorted, incorrect and hasty generalizations.

I would bet most of the 30% who did support the bombing assumed Agrabah was a hotbed of ISIS terrorism and were motivated by a desire to end the threat of terrorism....Like the way the US, the Russians, The French, The Jordanians and all of those other countries have been bombing the crap out of ISIS positions in Iraq and Syria. I guess all of them (Including our Commander in Chief) are 'substantially motivated by hatred, bigotry, selfishness and cowardice' too....although hopefully better informed about geography.

On the other hand, I voted to bomb Agrabah, because I always hated Aladdin. That's how independents roll.

That's you're big point? - that 30% of Republicans is not substantial. Would you prefer "a lot of Republicans?" "Millions?"

Arguing over vocabulary when you can't make a cogent argument. How typical.
