Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi, quite rightly in this posters opinion, had his ass handed to him on a plate when Richie Sambora failed to show up for their concert last night in Calgary AB.
To Bon Jovi's credit - the show went ahead - that took some chops.
Meanwhile, Richie said that he has taken more than his fair share of shit and abuse from Jon and has announced that he is through! Richie will be in great demand - always seemed to me that he was the real star on this particular concert.

Maybe. But I've seen them with and without Richie (he wasn't on tour with them a couple of years ago, he was in rehab) and I didn't notice any difference.
But when Sambora has his own gigs, will he actually show up?

There are two sides to every "divorce," and none of us has any real insight into that. But we all know that by bailing on a show, Richie Sambora showed a lack of professionalism and a lack of respect for his fans.
Still hot after all this time....Bon Jovi is still one of the fastest sell outs here in the Carolinas even in the big 20k+ basketball arenas

I could see where Jon Bon Jovi is a very driven man and probably has a type A personality and demands perfection.

I can also see where Richie is a laid back person and while extremely talented has probably screwed one thing or another up, where Jon would be very upset.

I don't really care if Richie is there or not - I go to see Jon, not Richie; as far as I am concerned, he's just part of the band. I wish him well, but I really don't see him going anywhere on his own.
