The chef is starting to bore me with his focus on "street food." I really don't care what the sidewalk vendors are selling in these faraway places, especially since it's always some variation of starch, fat, and cheese in a bowl. It would be like someone coming to America for the first time and eating nothing but hot dogs, cheesesteaks, etc. I will say that his episode in Cleveland was brilliant.
Hey Curtis, are you sure you are watching the same shows I have been seeing? We have enjoyed this focus on home cooking with fresh ingredients. His episodes from Italy have been awesome. I'm glad he has gotten away for the more bazarre foods like the native Alaskans who butchered a seal in their modern kitchen and ate it raw. No, this was not in Sarah Palin's home.
Hey, I like street food. Where else are you going to find bratwurst with fries that come with mayo and gravy on them, how about Korean egg rolls at 2:00AM, or clams covered with spicey red sauce?
