Brady and his Bunch to miss Pro Bowl

Apparently all seven Patriots including the kicker are injured and will miss the Pro Bowl. Brady has not played in a Pro Bowl since 2005.

Brady misses Pro Bowl
I'm guessing if NE had somehow won that game that Brady would not be missing the Super Bowl (er Big Game) and the others wouldn't be missing it either.

With the money he makes and what his wife makes, I'm sure a paid trip to Hawaii isn't that big of a deal

The only way the Pro-Bowl is ever going to get more viewership is to have topless pro football cheerleaders on the sidelines. Nobody takes that game seriously.

I think of it as "I am taking my ball and going home". This guy could have suited up in 7 Pro Bowls since 2005 (I do not count his Super Bowl years of course). When I lived in Hawaii a friend of mine was a huge Pats fan. Each year as we purchased our Pro Bowl tickets I told him his boy Tommy would be sure to opt out again. He always defended Tommy but I could tell he was disappointed every time. This game is for the fans,,,not for the players. Now all 7 including the kicker? Come on...poor sports.
The pats had listed 14 players as questionable for Sundays game. They all played.

The pats under belicheck have a long history of being aholes. I wouldn't be suprised if he forbids the players from participating.

I always wondered why they don't have the Pro Bowl after the Super Bowl so the super bowl teams (who typically have some of the best players in the league) can also be in the game.

They used to have it that way in the past. Most of the Super Bowl players found some kind of excuse to bow out of going to the Pro-Bowl.

These guys only care about being named all-pro and many of them really don't want to play in the game.
