Brady's Balls are Back!

Interesting - they are not deflated any more.

As I have stated repeatedly - much ado about nothing. Now, you whiners and criers have the floor....
Indeed, the 4-game suspension has been suspended.

DonDiego is unhappy that the Federal Courts have gotten involved in this matter and it is unfortunate that the League has been damaged. A Federal Judge has effectively struck down a contactual agreement among the League, the owners, and the players. This bodes ill for the future discipline of professional football.

On a related matter, once the lawsuits pertaining to concussion and other medical conditions resulting from playing the game wend their way through the Courts, the game will become unrecognizable. Pantywaists will rule the field. The entertainment value to poor old DonDiego will vanish.

Ahh, . . . well, . . . DonDiego will remain grateful for the memories of how things used to be anyway. Perhaps, gladiatorial games can be restored for poor old DonDiego to enjoy as he becomes ever more decrepitated.

P.S. The League can appeal this decision

Oh, DonDiego is personally affected as he had intended to draft Mr. Brady as his second quarterback in fantasy leagues this weekend; now his value will rise. Thwarted again !
I greet this decision with chagrin. I also agree with DD's writings, especially concerning the gladiatorial games.

I think of the term "karma" right now and hope Mr. Brady doesn't think he is the cat who ate the canary.

I bet them at 9/1 to win yet another Super Bowl.

Rick
I can cheat. I wonder if my boss will give me a huge raise for that?
This may be the ideal outcome for the league. They can claim to have principles and integrity, while keeping their cheating cash cow out on the field where he can make them money. Perhaps the telling indicator will be whether they choose to appeal.

A portion of the penalty was because Brady and the Patriots did not fully cooperate as they promised. Tom did not allow his texts to be reviewed by a third party (His own agent). The Patriots did not allow one of the equipment managers to be interviewed a second time.

I imagine a portion of the penalty was because it's the second time they were caught in a cheating scandal.

Put it all together and 4 games, a million bucks and 2 draft picks is a bargain. I don't think any of it gets reduced.

And once again an AlanLeroy prediction is proven right on the money.
