BREAKFAST

Peppermills is good and Ellis Island! Pjstrosh said Dupars at GG which has the BEST pancakes if your staying downtown.
Dupars. Yummy. Ellis island good food and reasonable.
I'm surprised that the Hash House A Go Go hasn't been mentioned. I'd also recommend the Sundance Grill in the Silverton. Very good food for a reasonable price.
Hash House A-go-go either M or new one at Plaza---go hungry huge portions.

My husband loves breakfast! The traditional egg, bacon, hash browns. We just came back from vegas 3 weeks ago and finding a reasonable breakfast was a problem. 1st day, Bills Gambling Hall. 4 people for breakfast, 3 omletts, 4 coffees and my husbands 3 eggs, bacon, hash browns. 71.00 without the tip! not reasonable. 2nd day Planet Daillies at Planet Holiwood. Knew the price would be around 60 but it was close and we were hungry. We slept a bit late and didn't get there until after 11a.m. They had a reduced breakfast menu after 11 so we got eggs, bacon and FRENCH FRIES! That was a first. 3rd day. breakfast at Ellis Island. Good and very reasonable. 4th day ended up at nyny at American Grill, very good breakfast. The last day we had breakfast at Mon Ami Gaby and it was terrific for 9.99 each. We were staying at Paris and didn't think to check their menu for breakfast. Next time we'll know.
I'm trying the MAG breakfast on my next trip since I have plenty of reward credits to use. Free is a beautiful thing.

I looked at the Peppermill breakfast menu and it looked pricier than what the original poster wanted to spend.
Thanks for the replys. Havent quite decided yet. Umm,wheni said date,i wasnt really talking about courting someone new, weve been married 21Yrs. I was referring to a decent place that had some good breakfast foo that doesnt chatge 12 b!ucks for two eggs and a peice of toast, and extra 7 for a tiny glass of juice. Wife and i both agree on this. Weve ben to ellis island before but didnt even know they served AM food. Peppermill sounds good as well.

On a side note,we got the 24hr harrahs buffet pass and have to say its a tremendous deal if you do buffets. Weve hit spice mkt twice now and have til 7:30 tonight. If we had planned a little better andboth in need of some rest at this point, wouldve eaten more. Well still come out ahead when we are done.

We just returned from a trip and I finally got to try someplace I've wanted to try for a long time... M & M Soul Food Cafe (3923 West Charleston Boulevard). We went for breakfast and I ordered the Chicken Wings & Waffles. OMG!! That was SO good, I can't wait to go back again!! I asked the waitress if we could order dessert and she said she may be able to grant that wish. We ordered a piece of sweet potato pie. It was a quarter of a pie, still warm from the oven and only cost $2.50. Here's a photo of my breakfast... (not including the pie)

Here's some photos/menus and info...

I will never understand the allure of Ellis Island- to me it's a divey locals joint that honestly isn't even that cheap anymore. (except for the steak special which sucks IMO) Good pizza slices, though.
Sucks/rocks is such a relative thing. After all, some will actually spend money on Battista's and claim the Vatican approves of it. Many many years ago a very wise man here told me I had to accept the LVA demographic, and one component of that demographic was that "value" means inexpensive. Large for large's sake resonates, too.
