Just wanted to clarify what had been said, JM. I just think this is a very sad situation and even though I was never a fan of Penn State I did admire his long tenture there. Especially since he started as head coach there a year before I was born.

By the way it has been said that the person who reported him as passing away has resigned from his postion effective immediatly.

Loyd, it happens all the time where people are reported to have died yet they're still alive. For instance I can't even count how many times the world was told Kim Jong il wouldn't be coming down for breakfast in the morning before he finally succumbed. It's not when you first reported it here because news outlets were reporting Paterno's death, but then you posted later he was still alive and kept the threads title and original post there with the link of "Joe Paterno Dies". I just found it odd, that's all.

He said he did not know what to do when, it was reported to him that a boy was being molested. What as stupid SOB.
I hope he suffered as much a the boys who were molested.
