If RS's system works for him... Great

Before I met RS I did some similar things that his strategy calls for, and I do it because I like to gamble. I am not playing VP for my income, I play for entertainment and if I win, great... If I am having a good session playing DDB and am dealt 222KK, I may hold the 222, and you know what... a few times it has hit, and hit with a kicker... I agree it is best to hold the FH, but I want to gamble and go for the bigger win, its fun, why not. If the extra 30 credits really meant that much to me more than the 15 I would get from holding just the trips, I shouldn't be spending my money playing VP. neither should anyone at that point.

Afterall, there are no "RULES" to video poker. You could be dealt a full house and throw it away... its YOUR money, do what you want with it. If you want to hold what you are given and get paid on that, good for you, if you want to hold something that will give you a little less, but leave you open to a bigger win, good luck!! I hope you hit!!

We have witnessed people dealt a straight flush 9-K and drop the 9 to hit a royal... she did it because she wanted to gamble and hit the royal, she did... and she never heard of RS.

The problem is you and the lady you referenced are NOT advertising their approach as something BETTER. I don't care how anyone plays, especially Singer. No one would say a word about his approach if he kept it to himself. But, that is not the case.

So, all your ranting was pretty much a "never mind" as it doesn't deal with the issue at hand. Money is advertising a losing system as a "best buy". Sorry if you can't understand that he is making a big mistake. But, I guess you won't let yourself see the problem any more than he has.

For what it's worth, I don't see Singer as a con-man. Singer is a little different. I think he believes in his system. A real con-man knows he's selling snake oil. There are many gambling systems. None of which really work but all serve similar to Singer's, to make you a small winner most of the time and a big loser few o the times. If Singer and his followers win, good. Rather them than the casinos. If Singer and his followers lose, well that's gambling. The house is supposed to win.

Caveat Emptor.

Sorry, Snidely, I disagree, I think he's a con-man, not a very good one, perhaps, but a con-man, nonetheless. I've read his 3 or 4 years of trip reports and while entertaining were completely unbelieveable. His $1 million win, his 5 royals in one day, his win % et al. just don't ring true. Most everyone has told a lie once in a while, but if you are lying to support an endeavor (his vp system) that, by definition, makes you a con-man.

Like I said, caveat emptor. If people want to believe Singer and put their trust in him that is their business. I advise against it.
For what it's worth, I hope MoneyLA does not leave. My opinion he's always conducted himself honorably on this board. I think he's the real deal when it comes to his personal experience with gambling.

All I know about Rob Singer is what I've read on this board, he's sounds pretty horrible. It sounds like MoneyLA is found guilty by association. MoneyLA has been unfairly attacked. I'm sure the Jerry Springer gallery will now attack me for my opinion. I won't be able to respond for a while because of work and I'll be traveling. Don't let this thread die I need a good chuckle.

Yes, there are no rules for playing VP. However, in this country, we have THE RULE OF LAW. This is not the jungle; people are not ALLOWED to victimize other people through deceit. If a person sells something (goods or services) and intentionally misrepresents it in a way that's important to the buyer, it's called FRAUD. And if that seller sold over the internet, it's called WIRE FRAUD, and it's a Federal offense.

And the reason we have those laws and other laws, is so people won't seek their own justice, which is something that people tend to do when they discover that another person has injured them, with intent to injure, or with intent to gain.

It is obvious to all of us that "Singer's" goods and services are being sold as a way to improve a person's outcomes when playing VP. You can add that to your list of denials if you like, but that is a FACT, and that is a deceit.

Money, here's something to think about.

Hitler was an environmentalist. Would you place all Hitler's ideas on your website because he promoted a few good environmental ideas?

Wake up!

Yea, he made plenty of mulch through out Europe and Africa. He also left plenty of unexploded bombs to clear the land for farming.
Aww, I'm disappointed to see MoneyLA ride off into the sunset. He was a great debater engaging in discussing opposing view points. Unfortunately, others on this board didn't have the tolerance or skills to tactfully engage in his debates and instead relied on ruthlessly attacking his character instead. Happy now? I've perused his "best buys" website and he has done articles on payday loans, pyschic services, pawn shops, and career colleges such as UEI, ICDC, and American Career College, not exactly my definition of world class services that I might employ. It's ironic that what he brought to these discussions seemed to fascinate and entertain us but at the same inspired others to get their "witch-hunt" groove on because of his association with Singer.

However, he did so without full disclosure.

Even here I have been accused of being dumb or dense but what I had been doing was finding out information and feelings and opinions. Some of them, you might be surprised to find, ended up in my articles, in my radio show, and on TV. Thanks for the help, guys.

As contributors to your articles, radio show and TV programs, our stipend/commission will be . . .???

Hitler was the first anti-smoking nazi in history!

Glad to have been of help, Money. Just don't tell anyone I had any input on your column on dollar cost averaging.
