I didn't reveal anything that a search of his screen name could not.
If the info was not put out there it would not be attainable.

Just because it's easy, doesn't make it right. There is a longstanding policy (from Anthony Curtis himself) against revealing poster's real names.

My Staff Member makes many of my posts. Many are jealous of my staff.

If what you say is true, you have gone from what sounds like a great career in journalism to a point where your next big project is hoping to film a wager between a gambler and a crack pot gambler. That is a major plummet. I have to believe your willingness to deceive people on this board and your association with people like Singer are the kind of decisions that explain the decline in your career.

i think its okay to be outed when (a) half the board knows who you are (b) you are oblivous to this and (c) he registered/posted under his real name - you are not supposed to have multiple accounts on here.

not to mention, imagine if we had posts by this guy double because he had two screen names? ugh. chipchik did us a huge favor here by nipping that one in the bud.

Ok, now that the congressman has resigned, we need to find some other pretext.

Why is there a "Secretaries Day," every year, but no "Staff Member Day?" I think many of us believe our staff members don't get the attention and respect they deserve.
Personally, I hope this bet DOES NOT happen. I wouldn't consider Fed a welcher if he backed out now.

None of the details of the bet have been ironed out 100%, and RS keeps changing stuff in his favor, and making it look like Dan is the one who is backing out. Now he lowers the escrow account, but wants to be able to quit whenever he feels like he is up on dollars. Whatever man!! RS is the true welcher here!

Its a lose-lose situation for DanFed, and its a win-win situation for Money and his stupid "pro-singer web site" who intends on carrying this on web cast when it happens.

All the people who love to HATE Singer will be tuning in, with hopes that he will fail miserably, and only one person will come out smelling like roses....Money.

Since the details will NEVER be 100% to anyones liking...there is nothing from stopping Singer from not playing and going home when he hits his win goal, and claiming victory. Its all a big joke!

Danfed...you're being setup to be the patsy here man...if you take the bet you'll lose due to Singer shenanigans, and if you don't take the bet, he is gonna label you a spineless jelly fish.

I say forget this bet was ever mentioned.

Let Money and RS say whatever they want to say on that tired old web site...we don't need that garbage getting back on the LVA!

Wether you like him, or hate him...RS needs this kind of constant attention..and we're all giving him exactly what he wants.

I also think that Dan should not go thru with the bet. Money you say you do not want to be a judge but hell we all know who you want to to win and you only want this to go down to benefit you. Everyone on this board has known for a long while that both you and Bags both have your noses so far up Singer's ass that they have both turned brown.

And I know that the three of you will try to screw Dan over if he accepts.

Dan I know that the majority of people on this board support you and do not want you to do it. Let Singer and his boys talk all the shit they want.

No one cares what they think and we know you are a nice guy.

This was Singer's latest post:

"OK Dan, let's get on with it. Since you agree that I can play in Laughlin & LV (unless you find me the same $1 thru $25 machines in LV) and I said I'd play with a $30k -- or even $10k -- escrow (your choice) then I don't see any more reason for a hold-up, do you?"

There was no response from Dan.

In an earlier post, Singer said:

"I lowered my escrow requirement to $75,000 each, with the understanding that I have the right to quit immediately upon attaining or surpassing that profit amount—whether it be in the first session or the 5th or whatever. Dan may also call it quits if I were to reach a $75,000 loss, thereby locking up HIS guaranteed profit. Beyond $75,000, we just don’t trust each other to pay up without a higher escrow. It is simple common sense. I’ll do it for $75k, $30k, $25k or ANY ridiculously low amount, but since there’s no way to get paid once I win over that amount then I’ll quit playing at that point."

There was no response from Dan.

Who is negotiating this contest? The participants in the challenge or the board members of the LVA forum?

If the board members want to come up with a contest, then let the board members decide the rules and submit it to Dan and Singer to see if they approve. But the way I understand it, Dan made a challenge to Singer, and Dan said he wanted to publicly negotiate the terms on my forum.

edited to add: Here is the quote from Dan where he said he wanted to negotiate publicly.

"To be honest, I prefer to discuss this in an "open forum" format. Why? A few reasons: 1) There will potentially be a number of witnesses as to the terms and conditions. Neither party can say after the fact that something wasn't discussed or agreed without raising the ire of the other viewers and 2) If this doesn't happen for some reason than once again the readers can judge for themselves why it didn't and avoid subjective conversation as to who "backed down" or "chickened out"."

Gentlemen-- please continute to negotiate. And to everyone else: unless you are putting up your money, stay out of it, and let these guys decide for themselves what they want to do. It doesn't matter who you support, unless you are willing to support them with money out of your pocket. Our money (forum members) is not at stake here. So trying to influence this contest is out of order.

So, since you did not "stay out of it", I guess this is an admission you are "putting up your money".

You could have just admitted it.

Allrighty then. I've got a 5 dollar bill in my fanny pack that says Singer comes out behind if he plays 15K hands. Put up or shut up.
