Breaking: No Hearing For Any Obama SCOTUS Nominee

I consider myself an independent and probably cast my ballot for republicans at least 40% of the time. However, if the party holds true to this stance, I will not be voting for any republicans this fall (with the exception of any that may publicly come out denouncing this move). I'm sick of the parties not working together for the betterment of the country and this is the ultimate selfish move that is completely irresponsible.

Thank FDR for that maneuver. He tried to stack 15 on the court because they kept finding his new deal stuff unconstitutional. He just couldn't get the 1937 bill past the Senate Judiciary Committee.


I remember that attempt by FDR from my Jr High History class. I was one of the few kids in class who actually dug history. I'm probably one of the few dorks who took extra history classes throughout school just because.

After decades of Democrats playing dirty politics, they now complain about Republican dirty politics. Just wait to see what happens if Trump wins. He will do a great job of beating Democrats at the Dirty politics game.

This may be payback for Obama actions the past 7 years.

The right should get dirty and nasty, and no apology needed. Democrats will whine, and that's just fine with me.

Boilerman spells out exactly why the GOP is doomed. Their entire platform is anger and "payback". They don't have a solution for healthcare, income disparity, immigration, or foreign policy - which is why they are blasting Obamacare even as they go for someone who is running to the left of it...(and this after they nominated the founding father of Obamacare in 2012).

Nobody knows what a Republican will do if ever elected to the White House - including the candidates who are running. If the Republican Congress is any hint then it will be a whole lot of temper tantrums and nothing else.

Democrats are meanies!!! - so they GOPers shouldn't follow the Constitution. Well let's test that theory out, shall we?

  • Unlike Republicans, the Democrats haven't shut down the government when then didn't get their own way.
  • Unlike Republicans, the Democrats haven't set records filibustering Congressional bills.
  • Unlike Republicans, the Democrats haven't set records blocking judicial appointments.
  • Unlike the leading Republican candidate, the Democratic candidates haven't encouraged physical violence.

    So Boilerman, how exactly have the Democrats been meanies to you? Notice how I used specifics to back up my point? Why don't you put your big boy pants on and do the same.

    You're correct that we're angry. We're angry at the GOP from getting steamrolled by the Dems with dirty politics. There is unfortunately only one way to defeat dirty politics, and it's with more dirty politics. It's a shame that the Democrats have placed the Republicans in this position.

    As an independent voter I see this as very sad that the Democrats think they can reverse what they themselves have done in the past. Yes the Republicans and Democrats are wrong on a lot of things these days but always remember : What goes around comes around.
    So quit your crying and join in with us to form a more perfect group of true American citizen patriots that care about us id carrying legal voting citizens!
