I was 10 when I left Cuba in May of 1961. I turn 60 on November 29 of this year. My cognitive understanding abilities came to me early, thank you Jesus, Joseph and Mary, God between us and evil.

I heartily congratulate you on your uncanny ability to calculate the age of posters based on their prior posts. It is a skill that I hope to master someday.

So how has it been for you living under Castro all these years?

What part of "I left Cuba in May of 1961" do you not understand?

Well, since you're certain as to how great it was living under Castro versus Big B, it is obvious you'd know that from first-hand experience, no?

Good idea, Bob. I have seen some Philly Blunts. It's a little hassle traveling into town to make any purchases. If I do get out, I 'll try that.

I have never said it was great to live under Castro. What I am suggesting after reading dozens of books on Cuban history, both before and after Castro, is that what we have here is a situation where Castro was and is, in my opinion and the opinion of many others who have seriously studied the issue, the lesser of two evils.
