Budget breakfast buffets -- Terrible's OK, IP not so much

Chip Chick..Im sure your employees will aggre you need your meds increased. You being so mean spirited,critical,demeaning and classes on a forum can only mean you most be worse in person. They are only fake laughing when they read the posts you print out because you are the owner. Majority of the post on this forum are generally nice and good spirited, most of your post are negative, combative and ignorant.....PRINT THIS OUT FOR YOUR COWORKERS AND YOU WILL SEE THEM LAUGH FOR REAL!
How really insecure can one be? If someone really printed out all these posts and any average mature adult read them ,their response would have to be something along the lines of;
"is this person really serious???,you really want me to read through all this crap?,AND this from where? ohhhhh,the internet,gotchya. HMMM,and you want me to agree with you?...really?..REALLY??".
No friggin way,especially when you yourself talked about how cheap your customers are. Which definitely leads me to believe that about everything you say now is total BS and you're just pulling sh!t out of your ass in such a defensive mode you're in over your head,hence the MAJOR case of insecurity. 40K jackpot?,why would you even bring that up now and not earlier? It doesn't make any sense. You really have some major insecurity problems chip to make all that crap up.Best of luck to ya.

I'm a somewhat cheap skate when it comes to breakfast. I want food as cheap as I can get while tasting good, period. Be that shrimp cocktail with a football beer chaser or a trip to MSS for the Sunday brunch.

Can I spend $20 for an egg dish? Yea, will I do that on a regular basis? no

Typically, anything less than $10 and I'm a happy camper.

Btw chipchik, love the new look.

I don't think this horse is quite dead yet.

I wish it was. What's really sad is to hear someone talk so demeaningly of their customers whom without your business would go under. Pathetic really. I waited tables for years and always treated all my customers with respect and thanked them for coming in. Yes I made really good money and had many regulars. Most people will put up with fair food if the service is good. Surprised chics restaurant is still in business if that is her attitude. Sad really.

The mob gets quite brave here after someone else has administered a blow or three.

A very long time ago when my wife and I were still quite new to Vegas, we took a "Cheap" winter trip and stayed at the Sahara (RIP). We went to the champagne brunch there and I believe this was our first Vegas buffet. At the time we were thinking the food wasn't too bad. The champagne in the little plastic cups...was awful. Many, many trips later with even more buffet meals we now realize how bad the Sahara buffet really was - and we were eating mainly breakfast foods which is typically difficult to screw up.

From all that I've read throughout the years, I don't think we'd ever try IP. Other "Cheap" places? Probably. Anymore, we're pretty regulated to breakfast buffets only as we've never been thrilled with any dinner buffets for the price that is asked. But we will go to Lawrys each trip and for us it's a great value for the money.

I had a Thanksgiving barffet at Sahara in 2004. This was the worst food experience in Las Vegas.
Chipchik, Just because you cook for your "Johns" in the morning does not mean you own a restaurant.
when i ate at the sahara buffet, i bit into a slice of white pizza that was bad that i actually spit it out and wiped my tongue with my napkin like a three year old. it tasted like elmers glue.

still, it was not as bad as the frontier or riviera.
I didn't read this whole thread, but last trip I was dragged to Arizona Charlies for their $3.95 breakfast. My friend got the ham and eggs, while I got the steak and eggs. While I don't expect the steak to be top grade in a cheap breakfast, I expect better than all fat and grissle. If I do it again, I will order the ham. The rest of the breakfast was fine.
