I guess its pretty hard to defend armed terrorists who engage in takeovers of government buildings.
Bummer - I was thinking of employing a similar tactic to protest my speeding ticket.

DonDiego would encourage pjstroh to do so.

Yes, do it come on do it! Before you lose the right to have a gun.
For whatever it's worth Montel Williams tweeted on Saturday:

"Totally fine with a massive use of deadly force
in Oregon to take out Ammon Bundy."
#OregonUnderAttack

For whatever it's worth Montel Williams tweeted on early Sunday morning:
"Then let's give them some [attention]- put this down
using National Guard with shoot to kill
orders."

According to the Sherriff in Oregon, the goal of their armed occupation is the overthrow of the U.S. government. If that is their goal, they are committing treason which carries the death penalty.
LurkerPoster, what is your problem with Mexicans? Is it just Mexicans or all races?

Normally before one administers the Death Penalty there are certain formalities, . . . like indictment, trial, conviction, and judgement. Ahh, . . . but why be a stickler for such details, . . .
I wasn’t suggesting procedures shouldn’t be followed. After the situation is over, they should be put on trial for treason and face the death penalty if convicted.

Or we could use the approach the Republican front runner has advocated in these active terror situations. That is, we round up and execute the terrorists’ family members until the terrorists surrender without any regards to procedure.

I read that in USA Today. It was a direct quote from the Sheriff in that county. Are you saying the Sheriff is a liar?

Quote

Sheriff David Ward said protesters came to Harney County, in southeastern Oregon, "claiming to be part of militia groups supporting local ranchers." In reality, he said, "these men had alternative motives to attempt to overthrow the county and federal government in hopes to spark a movement across the United States.”
