And that is why he polling so poorly among Republican voters.

Well he's about dry as dust and even less enthusiastic. And yea, his liberal views or should I say less than conservative views don't help him with the right at all.

But that is what makes him electable. The GOP keeps putting forth a candidate that can't win. They better wise up and compromise.

Politically speaking, compromise = give the left what it wants. When was the last time the left compromised on anything? Did they compromise on Obamacare? Not one Republican vote, not one. Where's compromise from the left. Over 30 state governors do not want Syrian refugees given that they can't be vetted......did the left compromise? I don't think so.

Compromise is what the left wants when they can't muster the votes to get their way, pure and simple.

UM, have to disagree there somewhat, but only on the topic of Syrian refugees. There were a many dem's in the house who voted against allowing them in with 47 dems joining 242 reps.
Other than that, neither side really gives in much that's why we have such a dysfunctional congress.

The RCP polling average has the most of the Republican candidates either with a small lead or within the margin of error against clinton.

What a politicians says should carry some value. What a politician does should carry great value. Why some folks place great value on how a politician says something is lost on me.

Agreed. Trump is totally on fire in the polls. The trouble is he is so far out there not many liberals will vote for him. I can't believe that in my lifetime the conservatives have gone from Reagan to Trump and the democrats have gone from Kennedy to Hilary. It does make one scratch ones head.
