Business as usual...

Once again the fight game has reminded us that just below the surface they are run by a group of thieving scumbags. No manner what the outcry will be about last night's "decision", the result will stand. Some things never change -and you can bet on it.

Have a second fight so that a hundred million or so can be earned. After Pacquiau wins it, then you have the rubber match, where 2 hundred million or so is earned. Don't forget Mr. Mayweather also.
If you don't think this fight was fixed, let's just look at some facts. Major money was coming in on Bradley at the offshore books. When it hit the 10th round, with Pac obviously well ahead, the odds were 100-1, and money poured in again on Bradley. They already had the November 10th rematch date set well before the fight. The only way that could happen is if they expected Bradley to win the fight! And that's the only way there would be a rematch. If Pac Man won, there would be NO rematch! Just too many strange things that happened in this fight. Even the victor said to Bob Arum right after the fight that he thought he lost! That about says it all!

Right. Looking for two paydays. Both fighters have the same promoter. A guy who has admitted to money laundering and bribing boxing officials. Follow the money.

Even Roger Mayweather, the uncle and trainer of Floyd Mayweather, questioned the decision, in a tweet: "Can't lie i hate Manny but he did beat the (expletive) out of Bradley. But like i said it's no one to blame but Bob Arum."

Arum knows he's a natural scapegoat but swears he had no ulterior motive or any part in the decision. And he's worried about the sport in which he's spent his life.

"When the guys at the (Las Vegas) sportsbooks are talking about not betting on boxing anymore, I take that very, very seriously," he says.

DiBella said he thought Pacquiao did not look very good against Bradley, and gives him no chance to beat Mayweather. "But he won. There was no possible argument in my mind who won that fight."

DiBella said nothing surprises him in the sport anymore.

"Some people are tweeting that Dana White must be laughing and this is a great day for UFC," he said. "No, this is boxing hurting itself. The way boxing's been self-destructive for a long time. It's very clear it's not going to get fixed from the inside.

"It's a cesspool, bro."
Help me out...I did not see the fight. I confess I only watch boxing when Mike Tyson is on the card.

So the promoter "fixed" the fight...but the promoter is not the judge. I believe there are 3 judges. So in order for the fight to be fixed it would have to be a conspiracy between the boxers, the promoter, and the judges? Do I have that right?

The boxers wouldn't have to be involved.

If the boxers were in on the fix then the judges wouldn't need to be involved. Pacman could just have thrown the fight and there wouldn't be any controversy now about the judges.
There shouldn't be any limit on rounds. They should box until one guy can't go. Then there's no judge's scoring at all. Time to go back to Bare-knuckle boxing like the olden days.
