We all could see it coming well now it is confirmed.

That didn't take long.
I hardly recognize Vegas anymore - 1)ripoff "resort" fees +tax, 2) 6/5 Blackjack, 3) greatly downgraded Video Poker, 4) sky high car rental charges, 5) early check-in charges, 6)increased taxi fares, 7)vanishing comps for low-medium rollers, 8)overly pricey dining, 9) ever increasing airfare + bag fees, 10) parking fees, 11)unfriendly dealers. Makes one wonder how many more idiotic "fees" the bean counters will assess as time goes on....

I'm guessing the next step will be a mandatory "nap-time fee" at Palace Station for the angry old men who spend all their time bitching and moaning....

There is a point when you get priced out of the fun.
Opportunity for SLS....Keep free parking, advertise the heck out of it and see if you generate more business and occupancy
Reno is looking better and better every day
Caesars (at least for now) will continue to allow free parking for locals. I appreciate that since MGM does not give a flying flip about us.

Highly doubtful that anything will make Reno look better in the near future.

Good Luck!

Well it looks like Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore, Hard Rock, Cosmopolitan, or Palms from here on out. Are places like Caesars Forum Shops and the Miracle Mile Shops going to charge for parking?

[EDIT] Whoops. I forgot Southpoint.
