Caesars Entertainment ready for US online gambling

It's in the cards, so to speak... Caesars (under the old Harrahs) has a British online site, has a licensing arrangement with 888 for its online games, and has free games on its website here in the US for its total rewards members to "practice" on. The NGC says its OK for Caesars to have a business releationship with 888. so as soon as the regulators say its okay, or the US laws change, "bingo" Caesars is there.

Ya know what that means? no more free drinks for players. No more great gift wrap up, no more free hotel rooms... heck... it means no more hotels.

that means Caesars Palace, Las Vegas could become the official "fan hotel of Celine Dion" with time shares being sold that will include seats for the show.
Sounds like it's the perfect solution to end the debate of whether or not one needs to sleep in their "free" hotel room to use one's offer. Cause there won't be any.
I dont know. There are plenty of brick-and-mortar casinos in countries that allow online gambling now. The lure of many people (like me) to gambling is the free drinks, hotel rooms, food comps, and entertainment venues. If my only option was online gambling I probably would not gamble much at all...except maybe sports betting

I think there will be many people who won't trust on-line gambling, no matter how many certificates of authencity are posted by the casino. You don't even need to screw with the results on every play. You only need to do it periodically to drastically change the odds.

I've written software for a roulette game in the past. If I was writing a roulette game for an on-line casino, I could easily make it win when someone was playing for free. I could easily program it to detect what bets or numbers are not covered and make someone lose if I wanted to. All computer code is compiled into machine code. Once that is done, it would be very hard to detect the dishonesty.

I agree with you that much of the fun is the hotel rooms, the drinks, the people watching, the lounge bands, and the food. I'm not that hard core of a gambler to want to do it on-line, although I too would maybe change my mind if on-line sports betting was legal.
