Last time I went in early July, about 2 weeks prior they sent me an email offering a mini suite at the flamingo for a ten dollar upgrade fee. I decided to take it. The room was originally comped. The upgrade was definitely worth it. The room was nearly double in size and added a couch and love seat.

Now I am booked for next week 2 nights at the Rio, minimal room, mountain view, comped, and they sent me an email offering an upgraded suite with strip view on a high floor for ten dollars. I took it again, I hope it is worth it.

I am not at all a high roller with them as I am only platinum.

The difference being I'm not offering free, unsolicited marriage counseling over the internet.

I didn't have any problems with an offer for 2 free nights in sept. No fees involved either,well none right now and they assured me there were none.I was gonna double check before we left anyway. Sure hope they dont try anything.

I called back and talked to someone at Harrah's, instead, and she explained to me what had been done.

The woman I spoke to at Bally's had switched me to a different offer without telling me. I think maybe there was nothing available under the offer I gave her.

I'm still angry, though, because they should have let me make the decision about using a different offer. And they also should have explained that I was not using up the offer that I asked for. Very bad, in my opinion.
You never did respond about your online account. Did you check it?
That is the best way to make any reservations with C/HET.
I was aware of all the offers available to me. I asked for a specific offer, because that's the one I wanted, not because I don't know how to make a reservation on-line.

The problem was the reservations agent SWITCHED offers on me, without telling me that's what she was doing.
Just trying to help...all I asked is did you try to make the resv. online?
No would have been sufficient.
