Caesars resort fees going up

I didn't want it to go unsaid and it is Vegas related...

Caesars resort fees are going up again. And just as the parking fees are being installed and I guess not implemented yet. Supposedly they will begin in march. I thought they were already started. It is beyond dumbfounding to me the utter arrogance of the powers that be to their customer base. I hope that America learns from this era of time, both politically and financially, what principals and values are. The old country standard....if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

Side note, I spent a week and a half without a phone because they were charging $750 for a new phone. I actually completely loved not being attached to a tracker, not having access to our completely sad, hot mess of a hateful world, but after commenting that I have no phone, no cable and no internet and no computer, my mom said I really did have to get a phone so I caved and did it. So i blame her. She knows I really would not have. Lol. I am stubborn as hell when mounted on a principal. I really only caved for the expense to others not myself. I loved being cut off from this reality.

Perhaps, the world is aligning perfectly after all and I hope people are paying attention. The "cost" of consuming is too high to pay. Greed, lust, glutton and envy are deadly.
I'm fairly sure you are still pretty detached from reality, so there is that.
Stay at Ceasars much?

Your insult really flops when you fail to spell Caesars correctly.

If everyone stopped going to Caesars property's they'd stop this crappy practice.

Sure, but right now, there is no shortage of suckers willing to pay premium dollars for what they think is a premium vacation.
In a way, they are right. A weekend in Vegas still cost less than a weekend in almost any vacation spot. Try staying in mid-town Manhattan for what most CET properties cost.
Hell, I overnighted near Yuma midweek last month and it would have been cheaper to stay in Paris or Ballys.
As far as I've seen, arrivals at LAS continue at record pace. The World Sevens has set a new advance ticket sales. Business is booming. It's just these visitors don't gamble like the customers from the past. Resorts now make their money from other revenue streams.
It looks like March 1st of each year will be their annual increase in resort fees.

Here is a link to an article a year ago where CET announced they were bumping the rate to $32 per night. Link

In addition to the increase last year, they announced paid parking and valet. You know that those will eventually go up too.

You would sure make a good spokeshole for the Las Vegas hotels.
My friend has a business in The Linq, near the observation wheel and he claims his lease calls for the parking area across the street to be free. CET is the landlord of these properties, but doesn't operate any of them.

Just looking at the reality of the situation. The days of Harrahs having the best comp system and treating low rollers like valued guest is over. It was great while it lasted, but its gone. There is an endless supply of young guys making their first trip to Vegas and willing to spend stupid money. Next year there will be a fresh new batch, and the year after.
Their table games, as well as their slots suck. Why any rational gambler would want to stay and/or play there anymore is beyond me. I didn't realize this, but the final cost of using the two free Mac King tickets is almost $35 these days. Insanity.
Treat them with the same disdain they treat their customers.
