Can the machines be switched to "don't pay" ?

I'm gonna write a book "Finding Unicorns in Minnesota". Bet some will buy it. Barnum was way conservative in his "one born every minute" comment. I'll tell you what though, if you post a picture of a machine with a 4% overlay I will stop posting on this group. You know they don't exist. I know it. Kneeland knows it. Only the poor marks haven't wised up. In fact I will issue an invitation to anyone to post the pay schedules or progressive meter of such a machine.
Here's a Reno play that's over 101% (with slot club) and is available 24/7. Real, unlike your fantasies.
A REAL positive play-NOT NSUD!

I think most APers know there are plays in Reno and LV with a 1% edge or better. That's what I've been telling you for months and you have claimed I was making them up. Now you say there are a few. You are sounding more confused all the time. Pick one side and stick to it.

If you think Frank is lying, why don't you call him up on his radio show and challenge him. Of course, we all know you won't since you would end up looking like a bigger fool than you do now.

I already have a side-truth. Why don't you tell us where these fictional positive machines are at Minnesota Indian casinos?
Yeah right-your silence will remain deafening.

You will now of course be kind enough to give a specific machine and casino as I have done.
Won't you...?

There are over 100 OEJ machines (100.28) at both Grand Casino Hinckley and Grand Casino Mille Lacs. The casinos both offer CB a little over .1% and even have multipliers up to 6x. They also send out money coupons and have even given nice gifts like (internet computers) to their high end players. I never pay for any food or rooms either.

Anyone can walk into the casinos and find them. They have many denominations starting at a nickel.

Of course, the strategy for OEJs is very difficult so I won't expect you to be lining up to play.

Arch...

So what is the "bottom line" +EV on OEJ there?

w/o point multipliers, and with.

thanks

It depends on the month. They have some nice promotions now and then. A couple of years ago I could count on winning a $500 drawing almost every week. With that I was well over 2%. However, they cut back on some of that so it's around a 1% edge if one picks and chooses the times to play. The low end is about +.4% and that is unusual. The game itself is about +.2% assuming some errors.

What is an "internet computer" ?

A small laptop with wireless capabilities. Small screen/keyboard and it does not have a hard drive but uses static memory chips instead so it doesn't have a large storage capacity. No CD capability either, just memory sticks for I/O. Still uses a standard OS like windows.

Netbook... generally the more expensive ones have ssd's...

That's almost the exception that proves the rule. OEJ is the most difficult, nauseating game to play. Haven't even seen the game in years-it's so ugly nobody plays it. I think I would jump off the Stratosphere before I made the effort to learn it. I'll stick to FPDW and 10/7 DB.
Nevertheless I have to, for the first and I hope only time, tip my hat to you.

Even more Arci bullshit. Let's see just the other day he tells me there are over 200 oej's grandfathered in MN. Now its 100. And get this, that's all he plays but they are at casino's 200 miles from where he lives. He always brags about his play at TI and Mystic. Now all of a sudden it's Mil llaces and Hinkley. Talk about keeping it straight ARci u should try to remember what you post in other threads. I can go back a couple years and pull posts about where u live and where u play so don't try to weasel out of this. And then to top it all off he claims to have an advantage on a less than .5% machine. What a joke.
Hey Arci who babysits and changes the diapers when you are driving 4 hours each way to the casino 14 times in the last 3 months, or are u still draggin her with ya.

"Ugly" is in the mind of the viewer. If it was a simple game like FPDW is probably would never have been allowed in the casinos. The only reason it got in was no one knew the return and the typical hold on the machines was 6-7%. So, the casinos love them and the state figured they would let them stay after being around for 15 years before they figured out they were over 98%.

Like all VP games the difficulty is in the learning once a person gets the strategy down it's not that difficult to play within .1% of perfect. However, getting the strategy down is a major effort. Although, not that difficult when it means gaining at least a 2% margin over the other games around here.

In fact, some people even consider the game to be much more fun than easy games like FPDW. It's more of a challenge and keeps the mind into the game. I can barely play deuces games for an hour without starting to fall asleep. DB is another good game due to the complexities involved.
