Can you come close to even with VP in Vegas area

"The easiest way to end up with $100,000.00 dollars at VP is to start with $200,000.00" .... unknown

There are several case histories of how VP machines and their RNGs could be timed to hit royal flushes and other "wins." In which case it made absolutely no sense to play with speed. you just had to time the machine and be there when the time was right.
Sorry Money, I know of only one case history and it was based on machines that are now 20 years old. There is nothing related to modern machines that supports your assertion.

The only reason the timing worked is because they knew the exact RNG algorithm and the speed of the machine. Hence, using a faster computer, they could predict within a fraction of a second when the next RF would be available. Even then they missed most of the time, however, by raising the odds of hitting a RF from 1 in 40K to more like 1 in a 100 they were able to profit.

Not sure what point you were trying to make.
Thanks for all the great information. My wife and I will be making a trip in April to Henderson area to check out some of the vp in the area. If all works out we will sell out house in Ms and move out there. Like the song where it said time is a theft= this is true, you get old and time starts to fly by and first thing you know you too sick or just dont feel like doing anything, and scared of changes. I had a friend (most are dead now) that said that when he was on the porch at the nursing home and someone said that he wished he had done that, he want to be able to say I did that. Thanks again for the information.

There are very few high payout games offered on machines that will physically allow 1600 hands/hr.

True, but I never stated a single machine ... just a number of hands/hour.

Of course, I'm talking about those who can play two machines at once, not multi-play where the number could go much higher and which, I believe, is what you are thinking.

Speaking of multi-play I knew a gentleman who could play two machines of triple play at about 700 deals/hour each. That's a total of 4200 hands/hour overall.
Correct Arcimedes, it was a long time ago and today's machines are faster. But the point is the same. If you happen to be at the machine at the right time you will win -- whether its a pair or a full house, or quads or a royal. So, if you were able to "time" the machine it would be better than just being a fast player.

Wouldnt you like to know exactly when that royal was going to hit?? wouldnt it save you a lot of money and time at the machine??
Arcimedes, Im really curious about this: how can someone play two machines at great speed? I would think that the time to move your arms from one machine to another would "eat up" a certain amount of time, and that concentrating on ONE machine would result in more hands played in the same time period?

Maybe they could put a red light on top of the machine and have it automatically come on when a machine is ready to hit next. It would make it a lot easier to choose a machine.

IF you had read and researched the entire account, you'd see that they targeted royals when they first began, and eventually began targeting other hands, 4 oak, etc in an effort to reduce the risks of recognition and other factors.

Hitting several royals would put you on the radar of most competent security and surveillance "outfits". Hitting quads, etc keeps the paperwork out of the equation, and therefor the surveillance is not going to "verify" who was playing the machines.

And finally, being a fast player enables more "tries" for the jackpots, for those among us who believe in the math and statistical norm.

Thanks for the history lesson.
