Can't stop winning! (A Rizzo report)

Nice hits Rizzo! And, we all already know...the best keno 3-spot is 6, 16 and 36.

ooops, I shouldn't have said that hehe
Sweeeeeeet!
So we stayed away from the casinos until Wednesday 11/16.

We ended up at the Red Rock casino and resort for a little fun.

The original plan was to practice some bowling, in prep for league bowling.

We bowled 3 games each, had a good time, and off we go to the casino. (we dropped our bags off at the car first)

It was around 8:30PM or so, and I had only brought 400 bucks with me, from my stash jar. I like leaving money at home...this prevents me from going on tilt after losses and spending too much money!

I figured 400 was more then enough for Red Rock, since they had been treating us bad in the gambling department for the last 8 months in a row! Sheeesh I only had that one royal in the high limit area back in Sept, but other then that No winners!!

Well I changed out 200 bucks into twenties, and discussed our plan of attack with lady friend. I wanted to take a hundy and go to that machine where I hit the royal, playing DDB on the quarter level. She liked the idea, and she wanted to play some keno at her favorite machine.

I stepped into the H/L area and went towards my machine, but some couple were in there, and they were playing my machine! Damnit!! There goes that plan!

I went back to LF and told her that I would not be in there, but instead I would be playing another 10 play outside the H/L area. She nodded, and off I went.

It didn't take too long, and I hit 4 aces with no kicker, and quad queens, then kings. I was up over 400 bucks, and was just playing off the gravy, when I get a 4 to the royal in diamonds, and ended up nailing the royal on the LAST line!! WOW!! Talk about sweating it out there! sheeesh

I cashed out 1400 bucks total, and had to go to the cashier for the money.

I was all excited about the hit, and was all hyped up...lady friend had lost her 40 bucks, and I was ready to get the Eff out! I was tired from bowling, jacked up about the royal, and we had both gone 100 each back in to the machine I hit the royal on as well as the one to the right of it and both lost.

I said "well we have 1200, and I need to add more to my jar, lets get the hell out of here"

We got about 1/2 way out of the section we were in, and I saw the look in Lady friends eyes, like she wanted to have a chance at winning something. So I stopped, and said "Here...play this one right here"

We stopped at a bank of flaming seven machines that have the diamond line on them. She won on her machine a few months back, where she got all 4 RED sevens in a diamond for a nice 400 buck pay off. I had a feeling about these machines, so we each put 40 bucks in our machines, and went to town.

I came really close 3 times in a row of hitting 4 any sevens in a diamond...I was like DAMNIT! Then I hit 3 double bars for a nice 40 buck pay off. I kept on playing and I leaned over to ask LF how she was doing? She said "Not so good"

I looked over to my machine and then I see Flaming 7 on reel #1, 2 flaming sevens on reel #2 and I closed my eyes and BOOOOOYAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! Flaming seven on line #3! JACKPOT MOTHER EFFER!!! WOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked up to see what the progressive was for the top jackpot, and it was $2,728 BUCkS!!! Hell yeah!!!

The jackpot music started playing, and I was shitting myself...."CALL ATTENDANT!" The dude came really quick, took my info, ran off to get my cash!

See the lovely picture here

Holy crap!! I played 2 machines, so far, on this night and one I took for 1400, and the 2nd one I took for $2,728

It was unbelievable!!

After the dude paid me, and I gave him a tip, I was still all shaken up and nervous over the big hit, and the wad of money in my pocket.

I had to settle down with a smoke and a little more play, to shake the jitters, before I set off for the drive home. We both sat down at side by side 3-play bonus poker quarter machines.

We each put in 40 bucks and started to play. We both played up and down for quite some time, these machines kept giving us small wins, to keep playing, but not enough to cash out. Finally LF hits quad aces, and followed that up with quad kings and quad fours. She cashed out 200 bucks!

Meanwhile, I hit a nice win streak, and got 4 nines twice, with four aces, and a straight flush. I cashed out 200 myself. WOW! Are we dreaming? Could this really be happening?? I played 3 machines in this casino on this night, and all of them cashed me out a decent sized TITO.

I was done by this time...tired from bowling, wound down from the big hits, and I was ready to go home!

200 more for Momma Rizzo, 100 more for Roscoe/Kiki toy fund jar, and 2K more for the Rizzo project! Hell yeah!! My slush gambling fund went up, considerably too!

While this night was an epic one...there is still one more SUPER HIT to report....I will finish it all up in a little bit

Holy Crapolla Rizz, ............... just like those 7's, You Are on FIE-ah

Rick

So after that huge session at the Red Rock...I had a couple of nice win sessions during my lunch hours at gold coast, with 2 quad aces with kicker, on two different machines and two different days.

We had my favorite cousin in the world and her lovely family coming over to Casa De Rizzo, for Thanksgiving weekend. They would be arriving on Saturday morning. I also had the task of watching my brothers two daughters from Friday after work thru Sunday night. There would be no casino action for me on any of those days. That was OK by us though...we had a wad of cash upstairs in a jar, and we would be spend some of it on family stuff.

Friday night was pizza and DVD night, with my neices, and Saturday would be breakfast at Silverton, and coming back home to get the house ready for my cousins arrival.

I asked for the whole Thanksgiving week off from work, so starting Saturday Nov 19th, LF and I would have 9 days off in a row!! woo hooo!!

The Silverton had a promotion running for the month of November that gave card players earning 1000 points on any day, a voucher for $40 bucks worth of food at any of their restaurants or the buffet.

Lady friend and I racked up a BUNCH of these. We had like 16 of these for a total of 640 bucks worth of chow. These came in handy, for all the company we had over.

So we did hit up the Silverton for steak and eggs on Saturday morning, and came back home to get the house ready.

After my cousins showed up we made a nice meal for everyone, and had a good time. The plan was to rest up around the house, for Monday and we had lots of stuff planned for that day.

Monday came around, and I took them out to the Red Rock for the breakfast buffet. Man..I still love the buffet over there, it never dissapoints! The whole family loved it too.

After breakfast, it was off to the bowling alley for a little fun. There were lots of us, and I bought 3 games for everyone. Great time was had by all.

Next on the agenda was a trip to Circus-Circus. This place really has gone down hill. The adventure dome is still cool to hang out, but all the places surrounding the casino and the walkways are all filled with peddlers. I felt like I was at a swap meet of some sort.

We did have fun on the rides, and I won lots of contests for stuffed animal prizes that I gave to my neices.

What a long tiresome day!! Sheeesh I was wore out!

I took them to New York-New York for the roller coaster ride the next day, and we made a visit to M&M world as well. I hadn't been to the strip in a long time, and this place has gone to the dogs as well. Lots of peddlers, pimps, drug dealers, hassling tourists. Those stupid costumed people were annoying as well.

That night I took them all to dinner at the Silverton buffet. It was great!

Durring my cousins visit, we did end up making two night trips to Silverton so the adults could play a little. Its been my experience, that when LF and I are with other people on a gambling trip, that we never win. We just get thrown off of our regular routine. My cousin didn't have much money either, so I was feeding her and her daughter some bucks here and there, so they could keep playing.

We went out two nights, and I lost 400 the first night, 300 the 2nd night! Not good...but what the hell..its family, we had fun and it was worth it.

Then Thanksgiving came around and we all pitched in, so Momma Rizzo wouldn't have to tire herself out like she did the year before, we cooked a huge bird, as well as a ham, and had plenty to eat! Great stuff

So now back to the gambling....The family left on the 27th.

Lady friend and I went to Silverton for some FSP that night, but we didn't win much.

Back to work on Monday.

The next real gambling session didn't happen until December 2nd that Friday. We took 400 from the slush fund and headed to Silverton! Yep...Silverton again! I love this place!

Well, the Silverton proceeded to slap my pee pee. I was down 300 bucks very quickly! Fortunatley for me, I was unaware that I only had 100 bucks left, or else I wouldn't have done what I did.

I pulled a 100 out of my wallet, and left LF playing 4-card keno, to go play a 25 cent wheel poker machine. I had noticed earlier that some dude was playing this machine and getting lots of quads and subsequent wheel spinners!

If I had know that this was the last 100 dollar bill in my wallet, I would not have taken a chance with this machine!!

However, Its a good thing I did play this machine. See pictures below.

I picked up four aces on 25 cent Bonus Poker 5-play for 100 bucks plus 1000 more coins on the wheel spin

I cashed out 300 bucks, and put another 20 in this machine, while LF went to cash out my ticket for me. I played 3-play bonus poker, and hit this beauty

Quad kings plus 1000 more coins on the wheel spin.

Lady friend came back with the cash, and was shocked to see me at 300 bucks again. heh heh

I put the ticket in my pocket, gave her 40 bucks to play the machine next to me, and I put another 100 bucks in mine and switched back to 5-play.

I was dealt three sevens , and picked up two quads for 2 wheel spins of 600, and 400 credits.

Sorry about the crappy picture.

Talk about a hell of a comeback! I ended up cashing out 300 on this one, but LF lost her 40 and another 40 that I gave her, and we had to get back home to the pups since they were alone. Momma Rizzo would be gone for the whole weekend, returning on Sunday afternoon.

The next day we had plans to do things, and boy did we do things!

Stay tuned for that!

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments so far. Keep them coming!

One more installment left for this report

OK...so now its Saturday December 2nd. I had planned on taking my car to the mechanic cause I was having problems with an oxygen sensor. Turns out there were 3 sensors that had gone out, and were causing my "Check Engine" light to come out and was not allowing me to get my car smog checked properly!

We dropped off my car at 7:30, and from there we decided to go to Silverton for another round of steak and eggs....boy is this a great meal, and great company with my lady friend!! It was just the two of us.

Afterwards, we walked around the casino and played a little here and there, lost a quick hundred, between the two of us, and were disappointed.

I figured we never win in the morning time, so I was about to head towards the exit, and something pulled me towards my quarter 10 play machine! I told Lady friend "Just let me put 100 in this thing, and if we lose, we're out of here!" She agreed and I started playing! I kid you NOT....the very first hand was just a plain old ace, and I held it, and picked up quad aces no kicker for 200 bucks. I just made back the 100 we lost on the other machines. She suggested a cash out, I said "Not so fast"

I was dragged to this machine for more then a quick one hundred profit!! I wanted what was coming to me. Although that four aces hit was a nice "welcome to my machine" greeting for me. LOL

Well, my hunch paid off....I don't think it was more then 3-5 hands after the quad aces hit, and my eyes about popped out of my head. On the screen was 3-4-3-3-3. I couldn't believe it...I freaked out, and said "baby....FOUR THREES!!! Holy shit....with a 4 Kicker" I quickly tried to figure out how much that was and determine if I had to fill out a tax form or not...I said 200 bucks times 10 equals 2000 bucks! YaaaaaHoooooo!!!!

I was surprised that it did not do an "auto hold" of all five cards and pay out the jackpot, it actually waited for me to hold all 5 cards and hit deal draw before the machine locked up, and the beautiful words that I love to see "JACKPOT" and "CALL ATTENDANT" appeared on the screen!

The folks at Silverton were great, the dude showed up in minutes...took my info, then went off to get my cash and tax form. He came back, I signed, and stuck my big hand out, while he placed 100's on my palm! I tipped the dude a hundy, and sent him on his way.

Ahhhh the good life! heh heh

What a hell of a Rizzo hunch!!!

After we got paid, I played off on by 250+ balance that I had left, and hit quad 2's no kicker for another 100 bucks, and cashed out 300 more bones! What a morning!!!

After this, we stormed for the parking garage, and off we went back home, to feed my pups and get ready for the next task, which was grocery shopping. We had plenty of cash for groceries now...we went to TOWN and bought plenty of stuff!

After dog feeding, and grocery shopping, we came back home to watch some college football and rest, until the mechanic called so I could go pick up my car. Car was ready about 2PM, and we took off to pick it up. Things were going great so far.

The next agenda item was picking up LF's sister in law from a hotel, and taking her out to dinner at 6PM.

I arranged dinner for 3 at Twin Creeks at the..you guessed it...The Silverton!! LOL My host took care of this request for me, and a GREAT dinner was had by all. We always get great service at twin creeks, and the food is AWESOME!

Our guest had a flight to catch later on that night, so afterwards, we played a little, but didn't win anything, then it was off to the airport, then back home for some much needed rest. We almost went to M-resort after the airport, but I always hate leaving my pups home alone for too long a period of time, so back home we went.

What a day!

Oh wait....I thought there was only one more segment of this report...I was wrong....we have one more segment to go. Stay tuned.

OK, the final segment of this Rizzo report. Hope you enjoyed it so far.

The best highlights were that flaming sevens at Red Rock, and the dealt quad 3's with kicker at Silverton. These next two are good but not as good as those.

So now its Sunday December 3rd. Another round of FSP at the Silverton.

We brought 500 with us this time, and left the rest at home. Boy did we take it in the shorts again! Damn, lost 300 bucks in less then 30 minutes. Ouch!

I was running out of options, and neither Keno, nor video poker were doing us any good on this night. When that starts to be the pattern, you gotta change it up.

I took 40 bucks over to a "penny type" machine but switch the denoms to quarters. 25 lines at one coin per line = $6.25 a spin. That's not too shabby. I lose the whole 40 in a matter of minutes!

I dug into my pocket and pulled out one more twenty, played it ONE more time! The first spin out, I get five crystal balls, for 600 coins, the next spin I get 5 candles for 200 coins...thats 200 bucks right there

By this time lady friend was done with her keno machine and came over to see me. She saw that I had 200 bucks, and saw that I intended to keep playing this machine, until I got all of our losses back.

200 bucks was not going to be enough for me at this point. I worked the credits down to 545 coins left, and then the mother load showed up. Stacked wilds on lines 2-3-4, and 5. The first line had the fairy on it, which is the 2nd highest pay out on this game. The highest one being the 5 jackpot symbols. You can see by this picture below, that I ended up getting 4000 coins on this hit! WOOO HOOOO!!!

I got all of our money back PLUS 600 more bucks! YESSS!

We played a little more and lost 100+ then I decided it was time to go home, but I stopped at another bank of penny machines and we started playing dean martin slots...actually LF was playing Dean martin slots and I was playing Survivor slots.

We both lost 20 bucks each and lady friend kept insisting that she wanted to play the OTHER Dean Martin slots on the end. I said OK, and told her to win big!

Well win big she did...with 20 bucks in, she got 3 bonus rounds, the best one consisting of the LOCKED dollar sign symbol (4 of them) with stacked wilds on lines 3-4, and 5

Total pay off on that one spin was 270 bucks!!! WOW!!

She ended up cashing out 400 bucks on this machine....not too shabby for a 20 dollar bill invested in this machine!

We left after that hit, and called it a night.

And that is the end of that Rizzo report adventure...hope you enjoyed it every step of the way
