Capos or Barley's

We're going to Las Vegas in 9 days for a 6 night stay at M's. We're looking for some fun and interesting places to eat. Has anyone been to Capos or Barley's. We're thinking of more of the local places than the larger restaurants in the hotel casinos. Capos seems to be pure Italian and interesting while Barley's has a large menu at reasonable prices. Any comments or other suggestions would be appreciated.
Barley's is fine, but nothing great. My beer friends says the brewery beer sucks, but I am not a beer drinker. Service is horrible, food is fine and prices are good. Good cheap breakfast specials if going to be passing by. The most redeeming quality about Barley's and the only thing other than cheap food that keeps them in business is the sports book and viewing in season. Oh, the place is clean and small.

Never heard of the other place.
CAPOS italian restaurant on Tropicana and Jones is now closed. A Mexican place is slated to open in its place. The Capos on Sahara is still open.
Never been to Capos, but have friends that have and thought it was a great time. I would not agree about the service at Barley's. I've been there many times for breakfast and dinner and not once have experienced poor service. They run decent specials with good pricing and have a very good salad bar if you like that. They took the table games out a few years ago, but have a full compliment of slots and vp. The sports book is unique for a "neighborhood" casino and offers remote listening devices so you can see and listen to games other than the featured one. Not a beer drinker so I would try to rate it. If you want food and some electronic gaming, Barleys is fine. If you want a fun experience I'd try Capos based on what friends have told me.

Good Luck!
