Capriotti's and the Bobbie

I finally got to eat at Capriottis and had a cold Bobbie up in Vegas. What a great sandwich.

BTW, I was informed you can order a warm Bobbie. I recall the only slight complaint on this board was that the sandwich came cold. The person at Cap's said that you just request a warm Bobbie.

The 9" sandwich seemed as large as Subway's footlong (which is actually 11").

I discovered there is a Capriottis about 10 miles from where I live. I will have to eventually try it.

Seems like the turkey they use is fresh carved from a real bird...not from a processed sphere of turkey-cold-cut-product.

Thats really what makes the sandwich. It tastes like the turkey you have leftover from thanksgiving dinner.

They do many oven roasted turkeys on the premises each and every night. The turkey is not a processed turkey meat that was sent from a vendor.



I can't talk about this too much or I'm going to have to fight horrible freeway traffic and drive out to the one near my house.

The one straight out from City Center is open 24/7.

I love that sandwich.

The only problem I have is that I usually go to Vegas two weeks after Thanksgiving....so I'm usually all turkey'ed out by then

Good sandwich. And I prefer it cold. It just works.

I love Cappriottis. My favorite is the cheese steak. Get the hot and sweet peppers on it. So good.

I was in the hospital for two nights a year or so ago. When I was released, the first thing I ate was a Bobbie.

And then a Julie, a Cathy and a Kimberly.
